[The feed snaps on for a very brief moment as it appears maybe Aoko was fumbling with the device in her hand and accidentally hit the record button. Her sad expression is quickly replaced by surprise as she snaps the feed back off

[Haer'Dalis is just walking in the park, trying to see how many trees had died, when he spots Aoko. He simply decides that he's going to sit on the bench next to her, as he hates to see a young girl sad. As a bard, it's his duty to bring smiles to the masses. Especially if it's the girlfriend of a friend of his.]
My dear lady, you seem rather saddened by something. What has happened to cause you such despair?
[He's perched on the other end of the bench, wanting to make sure he's not crowding her.]
[Haer'Dalis winces remembering the crossdressing imposter]
Ahh... Kaito has indeed disappeared, with that imposter taking his place. Now I can certainly see why you are so upset. This kind of thing has happened in my own world from time to time, and it almost never ends well.
[In this case, he believes the truth might not be the best policy, but he has little better ideas. He winces again knowing that this is likely going to be harsh.]
It... it is a distinct possibility that his impostor has killed him, and is wearing his skin like a cloak. However, there is a very good chance that we might be able to bring him back you know. I happen to have dealt with this type of things a few times myself, and I know of a few methods of perhaps bringing him back if we know for sure that, that is an impostor.
Kaito is incredibly intelligent, and would not likely be taken down very easily, but I don't know if he could do much against some of the supernatural monsters of this world. It's quite possible it got him while he was asleep, or simply that there wasn't any way of stopping it without some sort of magical means. The main point is that Kaito is not here now, and his impostor is
I too want to have Kaito returned to us, but I wanted to ask for your permission before I attempted it. The scientists seem to run this place and they bring people back to life should they die. However, with the impostor around, they simply assume he's not dead or missing. The obvious solution, is to kill him. You may think this brutal, but he likely was responsible for Kaito's demise. Should the imposter Kaito die, then the scientists will have no choice but to bring back the real one.
From what I have been told. The question is... are you willing to trust what I know with his life? If I am wrong... I might kill him.
[Haer'Dalis is looking her straight in the eyes as he says this, and his face bears and unusual amount of seriousness to it for the normally lighthearted bard.]
That may be incredibly dangerous. We have no idea what we are dealing with, and it may decide to simply discard it's failed plan at imitating Kaito, and try to become you. I most certainly do not wish to cause Kaito any harm, but I don't want you to come to harm either. If you absolutely do no trust me because of my suggestion to kill his impostor, than by all means, bring someone else with you. But I beg of you, do not try to handle this alone, or Kaito may return only to have lost you. The last thing I want is to have put you in even more danger by discussing this with you.
It would be more suspicious if I went with someone else. All that Kaito knows is that ran out- I could probably convince him that I wasn't feeling well- or something.
Then how would you bring up the topic of how to bring Kaito back? If nothing else, you could simply keep a friend hidden with you, that way if something does happen, they can intervene.
[Haer'Dalis let's out another exasperated sigh, as he turns away.]
You know, you're a very stubborn young woman. Fine, if you want to get eaten by whatever it is that snatched up Kaito, then by all means do so. I'll only go so far to try to ensure your safety.
[He might still sneak around you just in case, because he's worried about you.]

N-no... No way. Th-that wouldn't happen to Kaito-h-he's too smart for that. Definitely not. [she shakes her head and buries it in her hands]

No! I won't let you hurt him!

Then there is but one other solution I can think of. We could confront this fake Kaito, subdue him, and make him tell us how to return Kaito.
