[The feed times on, apparently from some unnoticed device sitting high up in a tree, aimed down at a clearing within the woods. Okuyasu can be seen walking into view, looking rather troubled. He pauses for a moment before deciding to sit down, apparently losing himself in thought shortly afterward.]

[He can be seen, and shockingly so not so far away, crouched with a small set of baskets carrying pomegranates and berries plucking carefully from a bush covered in snow and bits of foliage. While this is an unusual day to find any in good condition, his success suggests he's been very productive.]

[There's quite a bit of time before Okuyasu even notices the other nearby. He sits up a little straighter before frowning a little to himself. A few moments pass before he stands up again.]

H-hey... Tonio?

[He reflexively pauses and puts a hand to his face, remaining still... until he makes a side glance.]

...Yes?

[He seems to reconsider for a minute, looking off to the side.]

I guess... I kinda freaked out earlier today...

[To this he tries to give an understanding smile; nonetheless, his voice is steady and a little weary.]

That's fine, Okuyasu. It's a perfectly normal reaction.

[He doesn't look very convinced. A few more moments pass before he sheepishly puts a hand to the back of his neck, though still looking away from Tonio.]

I'm... I'm sorry, man.

[The smile mostly fades as he slinks a hand through his curls, changing to that of concern.]

Don't let it upset you. They intend to shock everyone, after all.

Yeah but... it was still really harsh of me. [He finally looks back up at the other, frowning.] And you still seem upset.

[He frowns, looking directly, but he seems affected for some reason.]

Because you're being too hard on yourself.

[Hesitantly, he takes a couple steps closer.]

I just thought you deserved an apology.

I accept it.

[He smiles fondly at this point, appreciative and not convicting.]

[He gives a small, relieved sigh, smiling a little bit.]

Do you want any help? [Motions to the baskets.]

[A large hand rests on a mostly unfilled basket.]

Don't be afraid to eat a few, si?

Ah, thanks. [He moves over closer, crouching down next to Tonio to help him pick summa those berries.]

[He can't resist laughing a little, barely able to let it down as he scratches his ears.]

[He twitches and tenses for a moment, but quickly brings himself to relax with a small, light-hearted laugh.] Mmmh, what's that for, huh?
