Birchbox May & June 2013
My May box arrived at the end of May. I didn't have enough time to post about it since I had to go out of town a few days after I received it.
May's box was about beauty routines. What are your personal routines? What techniques have you learned or mastered? There was even a beauty routine mad-lib to fill out on the back of the products card.

I'm on the fence about this one. I don't have much experience with leave-in conditioners. I like the idea though.

This is a pretty bold eyeliner. It's very durable too. You don't really have to touch up much.

I do like this sunscreen. The cucumber scent makes it refreshing.

It's not bad. You can definitely smell the citric scents. Sandlewood scent is very subtle. It's not overwhelming, but I don't think it's worth buying the full size (but that's me).

I don't know about this one... When I tried this out, my skin was dried out in a few minutes. Definitely would've been better if they paired this sample with a moisturizer.

June's box is all about wanderlust. It's summer, and who doesn't want to travel especially when the weather is good? These products were picked with that in mind

It's off white with a hint of pink/peach color. I looked at the other Wanderlust colors on the website, and they're light, fun, and flirty for the summer.

I had the other dry shampoo they featured in November. This was more effective. It smelled better too.

These are cute, but they're only good to wear around your wrists or for light wearing. Not for workouts, apparently.

It's interesing how Birchbox keeps the margin between $5 and $10. It's rare when they give you a full size item or when it even busts the $20 value. I think that these boxes are getting better. May was still so-so, but June was a big improvement.
