The Musical
So I started watching this drama last week. They were 6 episodes posted, and I watched all of them. This isn't your usual k-drama. This one is about a girl, Eunbi (played by Goo Hyesun who was in Boys Over Flowers Korean version), a medical student who decides to quit school and pursue her dream of becoming a musical actress. She auditions but she's never cast. She cross dresses when a posting shows up for a male part, but the investor, Yoo Jin, catches her in the lie. Then she meets Hong Jaehee, a musical song writer, who trains her and then auditions her for 999 year old Kumiho (9-tailed fox). Yoo Jin decides to give her the role of kumiho with Bae Kanghee (Eunbi's idol).
Kanghee realizes Jaehee's relationship with Eunbi, but Eunbi being innocent doesn't know that Jaehee has deep feelings for her. There's also a past that Kanghee and Jaehee share; she wants him back but Jaehee says that the ship has past.
There's something going on with Eunbi and Yoo Jin. It's not direct yet, but there are hints of something more. He has a girlfriend, his high school sweet heart Rakyoung, but he's been with her for so long that he doesn't know how to be a boyfriend to her.
