It's almost October!

Crazy. The year flew by. It's already fall and the leaves are changing colors (or maybe they're not being watered enough in our apartment complex). With it being fall, that means a new TV season has started.

Part of last week and this week, we get to see the pilot episodes of new shows and the first episode of continuing series'. Here's a list of the new shows I'm watching:

The trailer does not do this show justice. It stars Emily Van Kamp from Brothers & Sisters (which I'm glad got canceled... crazy storylines). Her character Amanda/Emily goes back to the Hamptons after inheriting a lot of money to seek revenge on the people that ruined her father's and her life. I was a bit worried how they were going to make this a multiepisode story, but I can see it working. There's a lot of backstory that will have to come into play.

Saw this last night. It was pretty good. It's got a subtle esponiage element to it that will drag more potential viewers I think. It's not a bad start.

Trailer looks awesome! I can't wait for this show to air. I'm sure it'll be well written and engaging. After all, it's written by the same writers of LOST

Ok, so this isn't your average Kosher sitcom. Why don't the guys just go out and get male jobs, right? It reminds me of the obscure sitcom Tom Hanks was in in the 80's -- Bosom Buddies, where he and his room mate had to pretend to be women so they could get the cheaper apartments while they worked on their respective careers. Sam was offended by the trailer, because it's dudes in drag. I dunno... I'm going to watch it to find out if it's worth it. Heck, I watched the whole first season of RuPaul's Drag Race, and that was way better than ANTM.

Side note: There are a lot of shows I watch that Sam doesn't like: Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Simpsons, etc

I'm only interested in seeing this because it has Emily Deschanel's sister. I don't know how well she can pull off a female lead. I'm mostly turned off by her because her voice is more monotonic than Emily's. I know... that sounds mean, but it doesn't make for good entertainment when the actor doesn't sound enthused.

Show's I'm still watching

Of course! :P I can't wait to see how this season unfolds with the Brennan being preggers. I'm glad they finally got them together! They should have an episode where they bump in to Hannah. hehehe.

The season premiere was all right. I'm not liking Derrek being an asshole though. I've read articles that say Patrick Dempsey hasn't renewed his contract yet. This might be a way to make McDreamy into McAsshole so he can be easily exited from the series and our hearts.

How many times are we going to see Christina cry at the end of an episode? lol I think they need to use a better plot device than that.

I'm not too keen on the character dialogue either. I know Shonda Rimes is the main writer, but shouldn't each character have a unique voice. Just saying.

Sam and I watched the season premiere last night. He normally doesn't watch it, but he was laughing at some parts. It's cleverly written. Very witty. It's good that they're going to end it while they're still at the top of their game.

I'm actually looking forward to this show more than GA. That was an interesting twist to see Benjamin Bratt in the new promo... as a series regular nonetheless! I'm thinking they're going to kill of Pete lol so Benjamin Bratt can be in the cast... but they did get rid of Naomi... so... I dunno... Will have to watch on Thurs.

Other than TV, I'm still working on school. Just got out of an exam today. I'm filling out an application for pharmacy school at the moment. i don't now if I'll get in. There are people that are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more qualified and have more experience (working in a pharmacy as a tech) and joining extracurricular activities. I basically suck. I'm probably the bottom of the food chain of applicants. But we'll see. There's always a miracle.

pharmacy school, bones, revenge tv-show, pan am, work it, private practice, once upon a time, fall, grey's anatomy, desperate housewives, tv shows, new girl
