summertime, and the livin's easy
i just kind of realized that it's almost the end of the summer and all i have to say is, "where did the time go?"
i mean, granted i was working a lot but i refuse to accept the fact that i worked my entire summer away. although it kind of seems this way. let's recap...
this summer i,
-got promoted
-went to ohio
-relapsed
-relapsed again
-went through a depression
-fell for someone
-said good-bye to the thought that something like that would ever work out
-worked, worked, worked
-went to the fair
-got a new guitar
-tried unsuccessfully to get into COMMUNITY college!
-cut most ties with someone i was so sure i'd do anything for
-built up a friendship brick from brick, and then tore it back down the same way
-lost two good friends, in a death way, not an emotional way
-made it rain on dem hoes
-slowly but surely secured my title as 'self centered asshole'
-avoided vicodin, (for the most part O:])
-drank on several occasions
-spent time with my bestest, aka the sister
-got a tattoo for my sister.
i mean, it looks like i did a lot but if you sum it up it wasn't as much as i could have done. i wanted this to be like last summer, a summer to remember. it's not like it was a bad summer by any standards but i definitely think i could have done more. but then again, we can all do more with our lives no matter WHO we are. i really wanted to get that blues band together, as well as see more concerts (and at least ONE dave concert) but i guess there's time for that in the future, we shall see.
