Global Poverty Project & Stand Up Against Poverty
I meant to post this awhile ago, but I never got around to it. Shame on me.
Global Povery Project is a project that has been developed in order to promote awareness and action for the eradication of poverty. Check out their website because it'll give you all the info you need, I'm going to be attending the forum this weekend in Auckland, and I urge those of you in New Zealand to check out the events page to see if there is a forum near you. If you think poverty eradication is a lost cause/pipe dream I especially would like you to check out these sites because the biggest roadblock right now for poverty eradication is the lack of awareness, which we need to raise in order to put pressure on those in position to make a change.
