Iran

I just thought I would share a couple of links if anyone else wants to learn a little about the situation in Iran (if like me you're wondering where to even start!).

At first I was following these people on Twitter

Persian Kiwi
Change for Iran
Next Revolution

Oxford Girl

I don't think Oxford Girl is in Tehran, the three before her haven't updated in a few days, but sometimes they do fall off for a few days due to the internet restrictions. I hope they're all safe. I found that between the four of them they provided a lot of good info of what was currently happening.

Who is who in Iran - this is a good, simple overview of who is who and where they stand. Citizen Tube is good for videos, Revolution in Iran is a good blog about the situation. After about six hours I felt brave enough to hit up Council of Foreign Relations, they link to a lot of other good material as well.

And as always, Human Rights Watch have reports, along with Amnesty International.

Here's an unconfirmed list of those who have died or been arrested since the election results Remember their names

And a quick video of some balloons being released in Tehran from a rooftop in support of change. I think that's a nice image to see in contrast to the violence.

These are just some links I've been using and thought I would share, if anyone has any they like too, please let me know.
