He had been sleeping in for a change and he sighed a little as he wandered down the stairs. He's dressed rather casually for going out and is pretty oblivious to the whole thing.

"I think I left it down here." Ed nods and and sighs a little. "I'm getting it." He had left it in a heap, but it has been folded at least. He pulls it on, fastening it.

The smallest moment of hesitation passes, and Edward grabs her hand. He's uncertain about holding her hand with his automail one, but Winry of all people, shouldn't mind.

Winry smiled that Ed took her hand. She didn't mind being touched by his automail at all. Opening the door, she led Ed outside. The sun glinted off the snow as they walked to the car waiting for them. "I hope this is a good restaurant."

"Not that I'm complaining, but why are we eating out?" Ed asked, going along, trailing after her like a puppy. "I mean, I was feeling kind of lazy..."

"Because you do." It would be repeating herself again if she pointed out how skinny he was. Maybe today would make up for that? Start relieving some of the stress for both of them.

"Says you." Ed rolled his eyes. "I'm sure my hunger will kick back in any day now, nothing to worry about. Especially with HIM gone."

The limousine was shiny and black and the driver opened the door for them to get inside. The interior was cool and smelled of leather and the fresh flowers in the vase. Winry slid across the seat.

"All right. I won't bother you about it any more."

"I guess, although I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. Ichigo's a good guy." Edward said, settling in comfortably. He didn't sound jealous today.

Winry nodded. She was glad Ichigo had come to watch over her. "I should send him some cookies or something as a thank you."

She squeezed Ed's thigh again. "You were busy." Her eyes drifted to the cast on his wrist again.
