Election

This is the single most important election in my lifetime to date. So many characteristics make this election season unique, the greatest of which I have found to be that many voters aren't choosing between two equally awful candidates. This isn't a lesser-of-two-evils election. People are finally voting FOR a candidate instead of voting AGAINST a candidate.

That being said, people from all walks of life are voting for Barack Obama. Men, women, rich, poor, young, old, educated, uneducated, Christian, non-Christian, straight, LGBTQ, original supporters of the war, people who never supported the war, people who have been devastated by the turn the economy has taken, people who haven't felt any of the effects of the economy, Democrats, Republicans, former Republicans who are disenchanted with the fact that the party has been commandeered by the conservative extremists, former Democrats who are finally happy with a nominee...regardless of what group you fall into, of how you identify yourself, I would like you to vote for Barack Obama on Tuesday.

Most polls are showing Obama ahead in this race by between 2 to 13 points. The best poll, in terms of having the largest sample size and the smallest margin of error, shows him up by 5 points. Even the Fox News poll shows him ahead. While this is fantastic news, most people haven't voted yet. Polls are cool, but they don't indicate actual votes. Complacency will defeat Obama before McCain/Palin supporters ever will.

Please vote for Barack Obama on Tuesday, November 4.
