I'm sorry (no, I'm not) but if you want to amend the nation's constitution to deny someone their civil liberties, I hope you fall into a very deep well. Whether you're for or against same-sex marriage...it doesn't matter. the Constitution is NOT the place for that. It's been done in the past (3/5 Compromise, Prohibition) and it's not something that should have a place in the 21st century. Furthermore, if the rights of a clump of cells take precedence over the rights of an adult woman who is fully capable of making a decision regarding her own body, then I almost think I'd rather be a clump of cells.
