You hear that sound? It's not my mind blowing, it's me dying of boredom.

It's Saturday night (or so I hear) and I'm sitting at home with my dad while he watches some hunting show...and provides commentary. I thought hunting was a quiet sport. Like golf -- then again, he tends to yell at the TV while he's watching that too. God I'm glad I don't live here year-round anymore. I'd go crazy.

Today I went out shopping. I tried on this beautiful dress. It was absolutely stunning, with my hair down. It was too long, of course, and a little big in the bust, but so long as I held everything up and breathed from my diaphram, it looked great. Pity I don't have anywhere to wear something like that. Fall Formal's come and gone, and I would have been overdressed anyway. "Cocktail attire" -- since when does that include jeans? I went all over and didn't buy a thing!

I can't wait to be back at Hollins. This is my wallpaper and it's making me miss Mill Mountain and the various Starbucks you can actually sit down in and not be in the middle of a grocery store, and downtown, and Valley View, and everything. It doesn't help that I'm not looking forward to Christmas (though our tree is now up and has lights on it, but no ornaments yet).

Edit: I just bought this necklace from Silver Jewelry Club. Purple...of course! :)
