I was trying to recruit Jinn Naoma to help us fight Yliaster. I used my Rune Eye to find his weakness.
...I could've summoned Him, multiple times, but...my body froze whenever I tried, just like it did in the prelims. Naoma picked up on it and stopped the duel before we could finish.
...it's hardly even that that's bothering me. It's what he said at the end. He asked me...'do you think you can help anyone with that half-hearted attitude?'
...the way I've been dueling, all throughout the preliminaries. I can't summon Him. My instinct is gone. My duels have become completely methodical, with no passion to them.
As I am, I wouldn't be able to scratch at Yliaster's feet, much less bring a stop to Ragnarok.

Do not feel ashamed. Even had thee used thy God and crushed him utterly, recruiting him to our cause may have been a futile effort from the start.
