Mikami allows Light to lead her to the kitchen like a lamb to the slaughter. Her thoughts are disjointed, and she's not sure if it's a side-effect of her arrival or her own weakness. Light mentioned something about tea, but Mikami's not sure she'll be able to keep anything down. She feels sick. Really, really sick.

Please, sit. Would you care for tea, or something else, perhaps?

She sits down in the closest chair.

I'm not really thirsty. I feel a bit ill.

She frowns, sitting in the chair opposite Mikami.

She looks at Light carefully, not sure if she can trust her. She runs her hand through her hair and sighs.

I don't know...did I miss anything?

I'm afraid I wouldn't know. After the last few rooms I ended up in, I've ... been keeping to myself, for the most part.

She gives Mikami a thin smile.

I did want to apologize for my actions in that room, by the way. I hadn't seen you around ... I suppose now I know why. You were in a place called Econtra, you said?

She looks genuinely confused.

Light looks down at her hands folded in her lap.

There was a room ... we all seemed to be under the influences of various mood-altering substances. I'm ... I'm afraid I said and did some things that were most inappropriate.

She covers her face with her hand to hide the blush.

What is Econtra? How did you end up there?

It's actually where I was before I first arrived here. It was a...military prison. People were recruited against their will from many dimensions to fight in a war.

There was...another Light there.

She stops herself, not sure why she said that much.

A military prison? That sounds most unpleasant. And they actually expected you to fight a war? To what end?

She purses her lips, thinking.

I see. I suppose that might be expected, if there were people pulled from various dimensions. Was it as it is here, with multiple versions of everyone?

Their world was under attack by an alien race...I know how that sounds, but it's true.

Somewhat. There never seemed to be more than two versions of a person. I myself had one alternate. There were also two of you at one point.
