_ i'm off to not fall asleep in the bathtub while i wash and shave and soak. it's too fucking early, but i'm doing this to myself, really. gotta get back on track as far as sleep goes. i woke up at 7 because my mother was stomping around upstairs and i was shoked that she hadn't left yet -- she stayed up late last night cos she went to see The Full Monty at the National Theater and so I stumbled upstairs and said I was hot and that she was sounding like an elephant and she laughed and I fell back asleep downstairs
