Nature kids, they don't have no function

It's sad. But I like to talk about money. And the various ways it gets in my pocket. Shut up.
So, I hardly got any hours at Fareway this week. I wonder how long that's gonna keep happening. I think this summer I might go to work bailing hay on my neighbor's parent's farm in Mason City. That just might be fun. And of course $$$$$.
Lately my mom has been getting on my case about my health. If you listened to her you'd think I was on my deathbed. She says things like, "Andrew, did you take your vitamins?" ("No.") "Fine, Andrew, go ahead and abuse your body." "Andrew, did you drink (water) at all today? You're gonna ruin your kidneys." "Andrew, you need to stop sleeping and get up and do something." I mean I can't even cough without her telling me I'm coming down with something. So most of the time I'm like, "Um, I believe you're the only one who wants to live until you're 80 anyway." I think she feels guilty for having a show on TV called Get Fit while her own son is a lazy lethargic bum.
Last night I missed the downtown deer incident by about five minutes. You might have heard about that if you've read Brad's journal. Buuuuuuut who cares?
Today I picked up this Smashing Pumpkins EP at some used record store in Waterloo. I'm still kinda WTF? about it. How's that for RANDOM?
Then I babysat for these two 8 year old kids. We played SkipBo and then I read them a Scooby Doo book. It was fun. More $ of course. Yeah, it's all I care about anymore.
Well, I've got to unload the Fareway truck at 5:30 tomorrow morning, so I better be going to bed. But before that I'm gonna watch the storm a little, because thunderstorms are fucking beautiful.

Peace, love, and who really cares about Reagan getting buried today?,

Hand Jackey
