Let's face it. The University of Chicago has seen better days.
The once-pristine lawns are grown over with weeds and scattered with debris-- someone's gutted mattress here, an unidentifiable pile of ancient garbage there-- and, if you're not careful, you might hit the occasional corpse.
The trip in, of course, is every bit as scenic. (If you're a big fan of the undead. And how they smell.)
Provided that you're careful, however, there are ways to sneak past the zombies without getting gnawed on and reach the still-fortified university campus.
Today, everyone plans to be very careful indeed.
