I guess hard work pays off ...

It was like any other day... not until my friend tagged me in her fb status regarding the dean list for Trimester 2. It was certainly a shocker to see my own name in that list... believe me when I say that I can never achieve such things in my school days (with the math, science and all). What shocked me the most was the fact that I was among the ( Read more... )

*huggles* Thank you ate-chan ;D I do think both of us deserve this after working our butts off XD

No, you're right. Designs are more abstract since its purpose is to decorate a room/gallery n etc. While drawings gives deeper meaning. I think my new lecturer is still stuck in drawing class.... :| oh well complaining won't do any better, either way by hook or by crook, I need to improve my drawings skills in these short time (even though it's kinda impossible to do so, but still I'll give my best shot :D)

I'll show you when it's done. But we didn't have to make the whole novel, its just a demo/blueprint ;D

For me, music notes are like alien writings at first. I can't understand why they need to write such difficult looking notes, it's confusing! @o@ But gradually, it's kind of fun to learn once you get the hang of it. Why don't you try learning how to read notes? Then maybe, you could accomplish to play the piano :D Even if it's one row, you'll feel happy... believe me :3

Yeah, they do have high expectations and that's why it's a bit tricky. My first choice for degree year is Virtual Reality department, followed by Film & Animation. Looks like I'll be leaning towards the gamers path ;D (Seriously, I just checked the list name in VR and 90% of it is dominated by guys. o.o''' I wonder if I can survive my degree year surrounded by guys XD)

Virtual Reality? What's that?
Oooh. Film & Animation is a nice choice too.

Music notes are alien writings ; just as I wonder how people read foreign letters like Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc but then not surprised if she can read Jawi. I guess I'll give it a try even if I don't have a piano but there's virtual piano so that's fine to practice once in a while. I have always enjoyed music, just don't have the will to learn it properly. :D

Always remember one's artstyle is different so do your best! :3
(Still can't design clothes; suck. Been doodling most of the time but sharing them is impossible. xDDD)

Virtual Reality is like creating characters, buildings, background, props n etc especially in games (like in Final Fantasy games. :D We will eventually learn how to create the game itself)

My sister learns Japanese n she said it wasn't that hard (since we do pick up words from watching animes and stuff, it kinda helps). I'll be learning it too in degree (turns out we need to take a foreign language as one of the main subject... so Japanese all the way! ;D)

Hehehe, I'll look forward to your progress ;D If you have an interest, anything can workout eventually. It's just the question of patience n time :)

Thanks again! (I really do need that XD) Aww... don't worry, you can show me ;D I still remember trimester 1 drawing class... it was HELL. Everyone had to show their drawings n we get a lot of criticism (especially me XD;; ) Embarrassing... but memorable :)

COOL.

My sister took Japanese too. Dad did tell me to learn Japanese from her but it's between yes and no since she doesn't remember kanji much. But I am interested, the only thing I know is 'n', which is like, the easiest of all.

:D

I drew a flower once and niece coloured it. I have no idea where I put it now but I guess I can draw plants flowers. xDDD
