Soooo. On June 24th 2007, I took HSK (汉语水平考试) which is basically like the Mandarin equivalent of TOEFL. To be frank, I didn’t prepare much for that test since I was crazy about buying shoes during the summer and make myself a headache on how to manage my money. Haha. The test is more like MCQ test but there is a Fill-in-the-blanks at the very end of the test. AND I SUCK AT GRAMMAR. CHINESE GRAMMAR + KERRY = HELL. I MEAN HELLOOOO, I ONLY SCORED A SHITTY 37. How pathetic is that! well I blame myself for being such a lazy-arse
If you want to attend university here (yes that means studying with local people), you have to get at least a 6. Which I failed to achieve since I only got 4 back then (T__T)
What pisses me the most is that I paid 250 yuan for it yet they don’t even frikkin’ bother to make the result envelope and paper nicer to the eyes. I felt like I’ve been ripped off by the local seller here. HAHAHA. Bitches can’t fool me. I am GOD when it comes to bargaining. One tip from me when you are going for shopping in China; learn some basic mandarin and bring a Chinese local friend. In my experience, when you bargain with English, they are sooooo totally ripping you off. ‘cause most of them thinks Americans and Europeans are full of $$$$$$ and no exception with the ABCs as well.
Ooo and I took another HSK test on this Nov. 25th. Hope i get a 6 so I can attend uni next year.
I also painted my nails yellow yesterday :3~ what do you think? (^^)
