WARM UP
1. That you’re doing this, we can assume you like NEWS at least some. Would you consider them your favorite Johnny’s Entertainment group?
~ Yes. I think so... Probably. Either NEWS or Kanjani8. And I also like KAT-TUN a lot.
2. Can you name all 6 current members?
~ Duh! Koyama Keiichiro, Nishikido Ryo, Yamashita Tomohisa, Masuda Takahisa, Kato Shigeaki,
Tegoshi Yuya... See, you even got them in order from oldest to youngest! ;P
3. What about the 2 not currently around?
~ Uchi Hiroki and Kusano Hironori
4. Ninth who left a long time ago?
~ Moriuchi Takahiro (I like One Ok Rock too!)
5. How did you learn about NEWS?
~ Hm, from a few different ways. One was through One Piece, when I searched on ”Sayaendou”. Another was through Toma and Matsumoto Jun after watching HYD and Hana Kimi (which I watched thanks to the Taiwanese version of Hana Kimi). And then there was the ”Weeeek” Russ-K CM, when they dance. There was a cartoon version of it with the characters from the anime Baccano! Oh, and my sister found KAT-TUN while listening to Japanese radio, and then we got to know more about JE... So, from all directions, in the end we found NEWS.
6. What was your first impression of NEWS?
~ I loved their songs: ”Weeeek” and then ”Taiyou no Namida”. And of course ”Sayaendou” before that. I found Yamapi and Ryo really smexy from the very beginning and the ”Weeeek” PV was really fun to watch.
7. How did you come to like NEWS?
~ I don't know. It just happened without me being able to do anything about it. (Not that I wanted to. ;P) I fell in love with Yamapi first... Then when I found out more about the rest of them I came to love them too. ^-^ I still fall in love with them more and more every day! <3
8. What do you think is NEWS strongest point when compared to other JE/music/talent groups?
~ Their member-AI! How they all love each other and aren't afraid to show it! That they grew so close after their hiatus, realizing they loved being in News together! Also, if I have to say, NEWS is the overall best looking group in JE!
9. What do you think is NEWS weakest point when compared to other JE/music/talent groups?
~ They don't get as much time together as other groups... But that is not their fault! (DAMN YOU JOHNNY!!) Hm, and I guess they aren't the best at singing live, but there are those who are a lot worse, so I won't complain too much.
10. Are you listening to them right now?
~ Actually I'm in my sisters room, and her MP3 is on shuffle... So right now I'm listening to Michael Jackson (Earth Song), but I listened to ”Vibration” just before that, and now One Ok Rock (Keep it real) came on! ^-^ (Which is a little related to NEWS, thanks to Moriuchi)

11. Do you enjoy NEWS’ music?
~ Yes, that's what I liked about them first, even before I knew how good looking they were! XD
12. What are your 5 favorite NEWS songs? (Released on CD or not)
~ Only 5 songs to choose...!?! I wonder if I can. Okay, well definitely ”Taiyou no Namida” and ”Weeeek”... ”Summer Time”. Hm, then it get's tougher. Okay... Hm, ”Open your eyes” maybe? ”Hoshi wo mezashite” and ”Bambina”... ”Hadashi no Cinderella Boy”, ”Why”, ”Labyrinth”, ”Ai no Matador”.... GAH!
13. What’s your all time favorite solo song?
~ Oh god... That is really hard. But I think I'll have to go with ”Daite Señorita”, I loved it the second I heard it and it was the first Japanese CD/Single I ever bought.
14. What music genre do you consider NEWS?
~ It has to be Pop. J-pop.
15. What Japanese song would you love to hear NEWS do a cover of?
~ I think they probably suit their own songs best. But it would be interesting to hear them sing something KAT-TUN-ish... Like ”Keep the faith” or something along the line.
16. What non-Japanese song would you love to hear NEWS do a cover of?
~ Hm, maybe a Michael Jackson? Or something like it. I wonder how they would sound if they sang for example things they like... If they would sing Beatles or Red Hot Chili Peppers... Hehe, that could be fun!
17. Do you enjoy songs with all members or smaller groups better?
~ I like News as News. But duets or smaller groups can be good too. I love ”Ai Nante” with TegoShigeRyo. <3
18. Can you sing all the lyrics to one or more of their songs?
~ Yes, but just one or two... I can most of the lyrics to a lot of their songs, but I can't sing them with confidence. LOL ^^'''
19. NEWS Nippon or Kibou~Yell~? (First single vs Debut single)
~ NEWS Nippon... I think. I've listened to it more, so that means I like it better right? ;P
FAVORITE RELATED
20. Who’s your favorite member?
~ Shige. But it differs. Before it used to be Yamapi. But Shige will most likely stay as my favorite in the future too. I love Yamapi, Ryo and Koyama almost as much though!
21. Who’s your least favorite member?
~ Sorry Tego. It just is like that.
22. Is there a member you could really do without?
~ No... Except the ones that already is gone. I don't want Uchi or Kusano to come back to News, it would just be weird. I do think that Uchi should be allowed to return to Kanjani8 though.
23. Your favorite relationship between members (as friendship or more)?
~ KOYASHIGE of course! There is nothing related to JE I love more than the love those two have for each other! <3
24. Who has the best fashion sense?
~ Hm, I like the rock style of Ryo and Shige. But I guess they all dress good most of the time. It's only Massu's sense of style that I find weird almost every time. ^^''
25. Who normally has the best hairstyles?
~ Probably Ryo or Koyama... They have all had periods of really bad hairdo's, as well as the opposite.
26. Who’s singing voice is your favorite?
~ Another hard one. I love Ryo, Yamapi and Shige's voices the best. But since Ryo probably has the best voice-control while singing live I guess I choose him for that.
27. Speaking voice?
~ Waaaah~!! That is even harder than the previous question. But I think I'll say Shige.
28. What’s your favorite NEWS group magazine shoot picture?
~ I will put up a picture later!

~ Will put up a pic later.
30. Favorite shop photo?
~ Same as above! Later...
31. Favorite CD cover?
~ Color Limited Edition (Will put up a picture here too.)
32. Favorite DVD?
~ NEWS Concert Tour Pacific 2007-2008: The First Tokyo Dome Concert
But I really love all of their DVD's... Especially all the lovely behind the scenes filled with Member-Ai!

33. If the members had become teachers, what do you think each would teach?
~ Yamapi seems like he would be a good Math teacher... Reading Business and all. But this is just my image of what would suite his character.
~ Ryo... Hm, what could he be? Maybe Home economics? Since he loves to cook? Or maybe biology, I think he would look good in a white robe! LOL.
OK, I will but him as the music teacher!
~ Koyama, if I didn't know how stupid he is, only judging by his looks I would probably say Japanese or History... or Literature since that was his major in University. Otherwise I think he could probably be a pretty good school nurse. ^3^
~ Shige would be science or math.
~ Massu: PE!
~ Tegoshi. I find it difficult picturing him as a teacher. He's much more of a student in my eyes. But if I have to... History or Psychology?
34. Who seems most likely to show a different side of themselves on Christmas Eve?
~ Eh? Why on Christmas Eve? Maybe Yamapi?
35. If NEWS rangers were created, what colors? Don’t associate them with Kanjani, just give them colors.
~ Yamapi - Red
~ Ryo - Blue
~ Koyama - Purple
~ Shige - Green
~ Massu - Yellow
~ Tegoshi - Pink

36. Please make NEWS into the ideal family.
~ Yamapi - The oldest child. The responsible sister.
~ Ryo - The oldest brother, but unmistakeably a rebellious middle child.
~ Koyama - The father. (I bet most of you would choose him as the mother, but I have my reasons!)
~ Shige - The mother. (Of course KoyaShige would be the parents!)
~ Massu - The baby boy. (I suddenly got a vision of Massu in a diaper) O__o
~ Tegoshi - The spoiled little sister. ;P
37. NEWS are hosts at a host club you’ve never been in before. Who would you pick after just walking in?
~ I don't know. I think I would enjoy my time there the most being with either Kei-chan or Shige. If only for looks I would probably choose Yamapi.
38. What kind of costume would you like to see them wear at a concert that they haven’t already done?
~ Some kind of Cosplay would be fun. Dressing them up as anime characters, girls or kindergarten children maybe? Hehe
39. How would you like to be related to NEWS?
~ Yamapi: would be my cool brother!
~ Ryo: a good friend or the hot brother. But since Ryo seems to spend more time with his friends than his family. A friend! ^^
~ Koyama: my best friend.
~ Shige: my husband/boyfriend! (Hehehee~) Or my best friend and Koyama's boyfriend.
~ Massu: he would be a friend too, or maybe a friend of a friend.
~ Tegoshi: the cousin that I meet once in a while but can be proud of.
40. Assign an animal to each member.
~ Yamapi - A panther... Or something like it. (Hehe, or a goldfish!)
~ Ryo - Definitely a dog (Or a Killer-whale!)
~ Koyama - A moose (I really think so!)
~ Shige - A cat. (Even though he's allergic.)
~ Massu - A pig. (There can't possibly be anything else.)
~ Tegoshi - A gazelle or a rabbit. (Something with a lot of energy.)
41. Which NEWS member reminds you most of one of your own family members?
~ No one... (But my dad's sense of humor is a lot like Junno's...)
42. Who seems most likely to dress up on Halloween and/or do cosplay?
~ Yamapi could probably be dragged into doing it my Jin, who does it every year. But otherwise: TegoMassu.
43. Who do you think you could pass by on the street without noticing?
~ Hm, I don't know. It depends how well hidden they are. But maybe Shige? I'm guessing he doesn't stand out as much as the rest of them. Or Tego.
44. Who do you think has pulled the most all nighters?
~ Shige while studying, but if we're talking about work it has to be either Yamapi or Ryo, right?
45. Which member would you want as a boss and why?
~ Yamapi, he's probably most cut out to be a leader. Koyama would be too kind. Shige seems more like the hardworking underling and TegoMassu is just weird. I think Ryo could do pretty good too if he wasn't so shy.
46. Who would it be most awkward to catch in the erotic section of a video rental store?
~ None of them... They are all men, despite everything. But I think Koyama or Shige would be most awkward about it themselves. So one of them.
DRAMA/TV RELATED
47. Do you watch the dramas containing NEWS members?
~ Of course.
48. Do you watch dramas that DON’T contain NEWS members?
~ Yes I do. I even watch dramas that don't contain Johnny's at all.
49. Have you seen all the dramas they’ve starred in?
~ I've seen all of Shige's (Even the one where he only had one quick appearance, starring Domoto Tsuyoshi.). I've seen almost all of Koyama's (there are so few with him). I've seen the most dramas with Ryo and Yamapi, but nothing weird about that since they've been in the most dramas. I've seen everything I could get my hands on. Regarding the remaining two; I've seen some of Tego and Massu's. Not all of them, even though there really isn't that many with them either.
50. What was the first Yamapi drama you saw?
~ Yamapi: Nobuta wo Produce (Akira is Yamapi's best role in a drama ever!)
~ Ryo: One Litre of Tears (Overall the first NEWS member drama I saw.)
~ Koyama: Hm, some old Gekidan Engimono... Without subs.
~ Shige: Papa to Musume no nanokakan.
~ Masuda: Gekidan Engimono: Ie ga Tooi
~ Tego: 15 sai no Blues (If I remember correctly...)
51. Do you wait for subtitles to watch a drama with NEWS members?
~ Both Yes and No, I've watched without subs for some of their dramas if they haven't been available with subs.
52. Excluding Yamapi, which member of NEWS do you think has the best acting?
~ That is easily Ryo! He's a really great actor. (But why should I exclude Yamapi?)
53. Excluding Yamapi, who’s acting do you enjoy the most?
~ Ryo again. But Shige and Koyama too... Mostly just because I love them so much.
54. Is there a story you’d like to see made into a drama with one or more NEWS member?
~ All NEWS in one drama would be awesome. Maybe a school-drama? A drama with KoyaShige would also be love! (Gay-love! <--- FAT CHANCE!)
55. Is there a certain type of role you’d like to see one of them play?
~ I would like to see Shige play a goofy character. I think he could pull it of well. ^^
56. Do you watch Shounen Club?
~ Yes, when I can. But (almost) only when there are subs.
57. Is your main reason for watching Shounen Club NEWS as guests or Koyama as host?
~ The guests are important, but it doesn't have to be NEWS. I don't watch just for the juniors unless it's something really special or funny.
58. Have you seen Yamapi and/or Tegoshi’s episodes on Shounen Club Premium?
~ I have seen all of NEWS on SCP. I love SCP!!
59. Have you seen any other Shounen Club Premium episodes?
~ All of KAT-TUN (Jin excluded of course), all of Kanjani8, Toma's, both of Tackey's, everyone's in Arashi except Jun's (which I can't find) and also Nagase's and Matsuoka's...
60. Did you regularly watch Ya-ya-yah!’s TV show?
~ I wasn't a fan that long ago. But I've watched many episodes now afterward.
61. Have you watched many/most of the older episodes?
~ Yes. Every single one that have been subbed and contains Shige and Koyama and also episodes without subs but with KoyaShige. And some more that don't have Shige in it but other NEWS members (aka. Tego, Massu or Kusano).
62. Did you try watching Hi!Hey!Say! to see Koyama host?
~ I've watched clips of it. Are there really that many episodes available with subs?
63. Do you regularly watch Japanese music shows (Such as Music Fandom Related)
~ Music Station, Utaban... What I can find! ^w^
64. Do you scan magazines?
~ No, I only have one. But I have like billions of pictures on my computer.
65. Do you write fanfiction?
~ Yes, it's fun! My head is filled with it!!! <3
66. Do you read fanfiction?
~ I do! ^^ Aaaaall the time~! At least once a day!

~ I've tried and failed. I drew a picture of Koyama once and I still get angry just thinking about it! >_<

~ If it's good. ^^

~ Not really...

~ Yes, with both NEWS, Kanjani8 and KAT-TUN.

~ No... I only upload pictures and fanfics.

~ I would if I could!! I want a GOOD movie-maker program!
74. Do you watch fanmade music/fan videos?
~ Yes I do! <3

~ Yes... Sometimes, like for the TORN PV.

~ Of course I do! I need as much information as I can get!

~ Only Koyama's regularly. Since Shige's Wagahai has ended *cries*. But I've read J-webs of all the members.

~ Not ALL of JE! That would be hard... ^^'''' But I do follow my favorite groups!
80. Do you follow other Japanese musical groups?
~ It depends... I don't really ”follow” them. But I listen to others.
81. Have you converted other people into NEWS fans?
~ I think I have. <3
82. Do your friends/family not interested in the group know about them?
~ Yes, I really should apologize for always dragging them into my conversations. ^^ It must be hard fro my parents, since both I and my sister is into the fandom we talk about it quite a lot, and when we do they don't get what the hell we're talking about most of the time.
MERCHANDISE RELATED
83. Do you own any NEWS CDs?
Yes, I own ”Color” and ”Pacific”. I also own Yamapi's single ”Daite Señorita”.
84. Do you own any DVDs?
~ No. I have them, but only on my computer.
85. Do you own any magazines?
~ I own last years (-09) POPOLO from May.
86. Do you own any concert goods?
~ No, but I hope I'll be able to buy some during my one year in Japan.
87. Do you own any shop photos?
~ Nope, same as above.
88. Have any posters on your wall?
~ Not really. I have posters of other things. I have a few pictures of them spread out in various places though.
89. Any other special/not-above-mentioned items?
~ I have more CD's by KAT-TUN, Kanjani8, One Ok Rock and Tokio. And 3 dramas on DVD.
90. If you could have any NEWS item given to you magically as a gift, what would it be?
~ Their autographs. And realistically I would want all of their DVD's and CD's that I don't have. It would also be great if One Litre of Tears and some other of their dramas would be officially released with English subs. =^_^=
FINAL PART IS ALWAYS HARDEST
91. So. Are Uchi and Kusano coming back?
~ Well, Uchi is back. But not as a part of NEWS.
92. Do you want them back, why or why not?
~ Not to NEWS. NEWS has been this NEWS for too long without them. But it would be a happy thing if Uchi could come back to K8. Unless that would cause Ohkura to get less singing parts in songs, since he pretty much took over after Uchi. But them being back as juniors I have nothing against.
93. NEWS members having girlfriends- how do you feel?
~ Well, they are human. Sure I might get jealous, but there really isn't much I can do about it.
94. If you could meet and chat with just one of the members once in your life, who?
~ Shige... I think we would have a lot in common to talk about. ^^
95. Can you write the kanji for all member names?
~ I can write Yamapi's whole name. And I can write Koyama and Masuda. I recognize everyone's names, but can't quite write them... yet! ;P
96. What do you think of Ryo being in both Kanjani8 and NEWS?
~ I wouldn't want it any other way! I love him for being able to manage all the work. He's amazing!
97. NEWS loses another member. Who is it, and why?
~ No, they don't! If they did they wouldn't be able to be NEWS anymore. They would probably split up. Ryo staying with K8, Yamapi going solo, Tegomassu continuing as a duo and KoyaShige would probably sadly fade away from the entertainment world...
98. Do you use the word “tabai”?
~ ”Tabai”? Wouldn't that be ”Yabai” your referring to? I do use ”Yabai”.
99. After this, one more question. You have to bring back one of the three lost members to NEWS- who is it?
~ Kusano, he had the best voice. ^^ Uchi would be better of coming back to K8. And Moriuchi fits better in One Ok Rock.
100. Anything you want to say?
~ Wow, this really took a lot of time. It was harder than I thought it would be.
And from this summer and one year forth I will live in Japan. I really hope I will be able to attend a NEWS concert! I hope you enjoyed reading! ;P
