NaNoWriMo update for the first day
So there, my first NaNoWriMo day ever is done, and I must say I'm happy with the text I'm working on.
1781 words versus the demanded 1667, counted at the stroke of midnight.
And I even managed to avoid all the nasty filler words I so hate. Now if only the NaNoWriMo pages would work so I'd get to update my profile...
I'm very happy, since I was rather certain I'd fall short even on the first day. I had only some 550 words when I had the chance to start writing at 23:00, so I was certain I wouldn't be able to pull it off. Thankfully, though, I got an idea and went with it, so I didn't have to stop to think, I had the inspiration and just wrote the idea down, and it was enough to save me from an embarrassing failure on the first day XD
Now off to bed so I get some work done tomorrow too, today's efforts are done and documented XD
