He's home!
Meme came home yesterday! Yey! Now he can come with me to the meeting - assuming, that is, that I will be able to make him something decent to wear, at the moment he is wearing nothing but a pair of socks and a black poncho... Thank you once again for the poncho, Tsukie-san, without it he would be practically naked... ^^; My parents will drop by today and bring me my sewing machine that I left to their place when I moved, but I have never sewn anything this sized, so I'm not sure how the clothes will look. I have a detailed plan what he'll be wearing tomorrow, the shirt is easy to do (I hope), the long jacket might cause some problems, but quite frankly I'm afraid of the trousers ^^; I tried to make him pyjama bottoms by hand (and those who know me know that sewing by hand is my forté), but the result was... not something I had planned. Okay, they looked rather nice, but they didn't fit. I couldn't get them past his thighs. And I thought that 1cm extra at each seam would be enough... I must have mismeasured him...
And thank you Qkuu for the explanation in which order to sew the seams of trousers, it would have been a 100% fiasco without that (the last time I sew trousers of any kind was on the third grade of elementary school, ie. I was 9 at the time...), now all I have to do is to learn to get the measurements straight XD
