Dreams about dolls

I have finally figured out Etienne's full name: Etienne de Silhouette. Yes, de Silhouette is a real French surname. De Silhouette was the "discoverer" of silhouettes, hence the name we use today for them. The name sounds good and looks just like its owner =^~^= I'm very satisfied now.

As for other dollie things - I slept lousily last night. I was over at my parents' place, and I had a lousy pillow. But I nevertheless fell into a slumber, which lasted the entire night. I was constantly aware of my surroundings but still I dreamed. It was a dream about a vampire called Dalarion. But he was no ordinary vampire, he was a doll, a BJD. A bit like the two angel dolls I dreamed of about a month ago. Dalarion was present throughout the entire night, either in the 60cm doll form, a "real" vampire form (despite of which he was still a doll), or as a spirit. Even after I woke up in the morning, his presence still lingered with me. We had a very close and warm bond, him and I, in the dream. He woke up in the beginning of the dream because I sensed him in an old, chapel-like room. A bit later in the dream I tucked him to bed with me, he was in his doll size form, and I had made a bed for him on the top end of the bed on a big pillow. I stroked his hair for a good-night, and he closed his eyes, only to open them up again and look at me, smiling gently. Later on in the dream he was a kind of guardian spirit - I think we were looking for his physical (doll) form which had been lost for some reason. The dream was partially a lucid dream, as I was able to control the parts where I flew (I love dream where I can fly, just simply lift my feet off the ground and float higher and higher and just fly around).
Anyway, I don't call myself a doll dreamer (I use that as my "subtitle" where ever I can, including lj) for nothing. I have a thing for dolls I have personally encountered in my dreams. Gia, my Fourrure Pullip, was the first one. Elisabet, my future ILYIT Blythe was the second. So I'm not surprised that I should encounter a doll like Dalarion in my dreams. And all my closer friends, who know me, know what it means - it means that when I find a real doll who reminds me greatly of the doll in the dream, I will get it. Yes, now I will try to find a vampire BJD who looks like Dalarion - a difficult task, if you ask me, as Dalarion was much more rough-around-the-edges than vampire BJDs usually are. Besides, he wouldn't be joining me all that soon even if I found him this minute, Etienne will be the next one to arrive (probably some time late summer/early autumn), and after that it takes a while to scratch up the money needed for Dalarion. So we'll see.
Oh, and if someone wonders, the angel BJDs were a bit different thing, because I didn't interact with them, I was more like an outsider witness to a scene. The interaction, the name, and the voice are always the key elements before I will bond with a doll I see in a dream. And Dalarion's presence was so incredibly strong, because like I said, I was able to catch a whisper of that feeling of a presence even several hours after waking up.
It was a very good dream, despite it having vampires and things and whatnot in it - I'm not very fond of dreams of darkness, they tend to make me anxious and scared, I usually wake up moaning or screaming from dreams of that nature. This dream, however, was a good dream, and I woke up from it with a very nice warm feeling within me, a gentle feeling, the feeling of being protected and even loved. The bond between me and Dalarion felt so warm, gentle and real...

But now it's late, I'm off to bed, perhaps tonight I'll be able to sleep properly, not just slumber - and, if I'm lucky, I'll even meet Dalarion again in my dreams *smile*
