My days as a hand model are over

Yesterday I started my day by slicing two of my finger with a steak knife. Incidentally, I use steak knives to cut bagels because they work nicely and are sharp and I sure am not using them for anything else. The one finger would not stop bleeding for 20 minutes. Telehealth Ontario were little help; they simply said to go to the Emergency Room. Both cuts were about three milimetres wide - I doubt I need stitches. Anyways, Health Services fixed me up nice and I made it to class on time - without passing out! Hurrah.

Today I woke up, gathered my morning coffee, looked at a clock, realized it was in fact 7:30 and not 8:30 - the time when I had intended to get up. So now it is like I have won a free hour from the time gods. Although my significant tiredness seems to be a drawback to this gain. And no, I did not go back to sleep because I had not had sufficient coffee to make decisions like that and then once I had sufficient coffee it was too late.

And because I am a copycat, and also a word fiend...
