How I love being back in Düsseldorf and enjoying some culture with my family. I didn't know how much I missed that.
We visited a photography exhibition in the NRW Forum, called "
Spectacular City". It really was spectacular. Photographs of urban architecture mostly, but totally different from artist to artist. Some were giant portrays of giant apartment bulidings, window next to window and totally unindividual and uniform. Others almost mystical, showing suburban houses by night, mysteriously lighted by a clouded moon or a hidden lantern spreading diffuse light in the fog. Again others showed cities from bird's eye perspective, shot at different day times and in totally different lightning. There were some of the most beautiful and interesting photographs I've ever seen! *__*
And of course I was a silly fangirl once again and searched the city shoots of Tokyo and Osaka for a certain theatre. XD
Yesterday I went to another exhibition with two art classes of the school where I'm currently working:
Picasso. That was pretty... funny, I have to say, because it's mostly Picasso's late work - a period where he painted very drastical motives, with an almost pornographical touch. Now imagine you have to look after a group of 15-16 years old students, who don't care much about art even if it's a Picasso they're looking at. XD Let's say I was very very tired when I got home.
Enough culture and high-art - on to Romance Kakumei. XD
There's another music video! Featuring brandnew tidbits of new choreographies we're currently practising for our new show: "Romance Kakumei Sneak Preview: This Is Takarazuka", which I'm proud to announce (!) we will perform at the
Hanami 2007.
And - as always - us producing a lot of nansensu (hah! inside joke XD). Seriously, I believe these videos are our dear leader Anthy's way of dealing with the massive traumas we cause her on a regular basis... ^^;;
But again, please look for yourself:
Anthy's diary I just realized this is the second outtakes video in just little more than one month... gosh, do we really produce so much crap on rehearsals?! XD
Also, I had an hour long talk with my mentor when I attended her class today. As if it wasn't enough already, she is also one of the best teachers I met so far. And - she drove me home after that. In her own car. *__* Seriously, if I weren't so absolutely happy with my love life at the moment, I would have a major crush on her. XD
(She wrote our names on the board in class today. I don't know who it was, but I'll absolutely ever adore the kid that then called HER by MY last name accidentally. Oh - my - God... *laughs*)
Furthermore, I hate LiveJournal for not saving my entry and forcing me to write it all over again. Which is why I left out a big part of the exhibition reviews. Just in case you wondered. T__T
