I just spent the evening celebrating the (german) musical side of the 90's with my roommates.
We listened to Backstreet Boys, imitated the hilarious dance style of "We've got it goin' on" and failed at the one of "Backstreet's Back", revelled in the memories of "Quit playin' games with my heart" , sung aloud to DJ Bobo and did a spontaneous choreo to "Prayer", watched painful videos of Mr. President's "Cocojambo", named all Boygroup members we could remember, and bawled Blümchen's greatest hits. And of course, there was A LOT of Michael Jackson and other defining musical moments in adolescence.
Oh how I loved my childhood! There will be never anything as bad, crazy and loveable as the 90's. <3
