Summer's Social Escapades Chapter 1: Wow.......You Have NO Idea...
Oh. My. God.
Tonight was the best ever.
So my sister set me up with a friend of hers from work, Michael, whom I went to school with, but I hadn't seen in about two years. At first I was kinda reluctant, but I decided to give it a shot, and I'm really glad that I did.
Mike is a really great guy. When I got to where we were meeting, he gave me a rose and took me out to dinner at the Desert Rose, which is one of the nicest restaurants in town. We talked and talked--after we finished eating, we decided to take a walk before we went to the movies.
We never made it to the movies. We walked the length of the park maybe ten or twelve times--and talked for about two and a half hours. It's amazing how much we have in common, and that we never knew all this before. He likes to write, just like me, and he reads even more than I do. We talked about just about everything under the sun, and he was such a gentleman--he opened doors for me and all that stuff. All in all....it was fantastic. And there's a second date in the works for sure. :D
