Character name: Parsee Mizuhashi
Fandom: Touhou Project
Timeline: Post Subterranean Animism
Age: Unknown, physically is about 15-17 years old
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: Parsee has the ability to manipulate Jealousy in other people. Yes, she's so jealous that she can literally make other people jealous.
How would they use their abilities?: Parsee is a bit of a wild card. Due to her own self hatred, she really doesn't like to see anyone else happy. It makes her feel horrible and she's very likely to spark jealous feelings in anyone se sees being happy just for the sake of making herself feel a little better. In short, she's not a good person. She's self serving and uses her powers to make herself feel a little bit better even if it's temporary. Which it always is.

Appearance: here

Parsee has shoulder length blonde hair, green eyes (jealousy pun dohoho), and pointed ears. She's rather short (headcanon says 5'2") and her outfit consists of different layers of shirts and skirts to create a complicated that is supposed to be inspired by persian culture. But Zun is silly and it really doesn't look very persian at all. Oh well!

Background/Personality:

Parsee hates you.

No really, she does.

But as much as she hates you? She probably hates herself at least ten times more.

Parsee is a bridge princess, and as such, her job is to guard the bridge from the human world to the underworld. Headcanon says Parsee used to enjoy her job and love watching all of the people cross on using her bridge. But then she began to notice the people or, well, the couples at first. She noticed how in love they always were. And then she noticed the individual people who, despite being alone, looked happy. Parsee was always alone, guarding that bridge, and even if she spoke up or tried to communicate with the people using her bridge she often went ignored. When they did talk to her Parsee was too socially awkward to communicate with them properly. Hundreds of years later, Parsee began to despise everything that simply passed her by.

She was tired of being ignored. She wanted something more.

So she started attacking them. If she didn't have a reason to attack, she'd come up with one. Which was fairly easy for someone who grew so jealous that she wanted to hurt the people she was jealous of. Eventually, she became so overtaken with jealousy that she found herself able to manipulate the jealousy in other people. She'd make couples she once fawned over separate and go their own ways. She made the happy people foam in a jealous, seething rage. It made Parsee feel good, not in a positive way, but it was the only way she knew to unload her negative feelings. But this only made her own jealousy fester in her.

Come the heroines, Parsee is more than ready to come up with a reason to attack them. But she loses. And the self hatred cycle starts all over again.

Basically, Parsee is that really negative person that you hate times one thousand. You know the type. Sits in his or her cubical everyday and wishes they could be somewhere else besides at work. Their feet practically drag as they walk. If you try and talk to them they'll comment about how it doesn't matter or say something about how terrible the weather is. Everyone is above them and they are pretty much a walking doormat.

Until they get angry. Then they lash out at everyone around them and hate the world. Parsee is at that stage. The only person she hates more than everyone else is herself and she's constantly stuck in a pit of self hatred, self pity, and loathing for everything around her simply because it has the ability to be happy. She'd probably kick puppies. She hates everything that much.

Have you read up on how the game works?: Communication is achieved via a guide plugin called the Flaming Ferret, and money can be acquired via getting a job, freelance work, or mooching.

3rd person sample:

Back in Gensokyo, Parsee had always imagined what her life might be like if she abandoned post and left her bridge. Of course, she almost never did, and even if she did it was just to visit the underworld. Other than that, she kept her feet firmly planted on her bridge. Most of her felt like she didn't deserve better but there was still part of her that wanted to abandon this life of complete jealousy and hatred and move on to something else. But even if she tried, she'd have no idea how to pull it off. So she just stayed on that bridge.

Until she was forced to leave, that is.

Parsee had found her move to the S.S. Thor to be difficult, at the very least. She hated leaving the room she was assigned but she hated being around her roommates. So, to get away from them and find somewhere to be alone, Parsee wandered around on the ship. But then the process just repeated itself. Hundreds of years of seething rage wasn't going to subdue overnight and even without a bridge she still felt jealous of anyone that looked happier than her. Hell, even if the aliens were ugly as sin, Parsee knew that on the inside she was uglier than any alien she could ever encounter.

Old habits die hard, and this habit was going to be very hard to quit.
