roanoke

So Roanoke was good. Not what I was really expecting but I can see myself being happy there. The one thing that REALLY bothered me was the fact that any single person we walked by knew my tour guides name. I really don't want to end up at another carnegie where everyone knows everyones business. On the bright side Roanoke was name the 19th fittest college in america which mean lots of built man candy. Almost every guy I saw was hotttttttt and everyone was so super nice! opening doors and such, it was sweet.
Coolest things we did:
Drove on blueridge parkway (it was SO foggy)
walked for a bit on the appalachian trail-i want to hike it for serious sometime in my life
Shopped downtown where they had REALLY cute boutiques with amazing clothes
Met a cool trucker at a little ma and pa lunch place
At at carlos' which had DELICIOUS food and martinis
IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!! the morning we left there were flurries coming down, it was magical

So although roanoke isn't my dream college, its almost close enough :)

quote of the day:
It is far better to be alone than to wish you were.

Peace
