I LOVE THIS. I have the art in my head and the yakisaba and the GRIP TAPE and TEZUKA SJFKLSJAFJSJFAS. "When you say that word I can't remember myself." *sigh* That's so beautiful.

Yay. This is just lovely. I can't believe you wrote AND drew tezu/ryo like this. it's very, very inspiring.

Wah. That last scene is so sweet, so nice, sooooo lovely.

PHYSICAL CONTACT WHEE. I love your subtle stuff, don't get me wrong, but nothing beats Tezuka gently running his thumb along Ryoma's bottom lip. Oh, baby. How can something so sweet and soft be so incredibly hot? ♥

OMG, I think I love you. The days of TezuRyo draught just * ended * when you popped into the scene. Gah. I feel like one of the Israelites when Moses led them through the dessert and God showered manna on them.

I'm blubbering, and I usually don't blubber but... They're so... them, I could just see the scene playing in my head-- the train, the lights, the respective dropping of the bags and the kiss, OMG the kiss... and ahhh... God be praised.

Ahem. Yes. I fully understand if you want to steer clear of me now.

I don't know... Moses might be the one to lead them through dessert too... but I think they're sweet enough on their own. ^_^

Wow, it's been ages since I've read a really good tezu/ryo piece.

Oh and you right, it's a bit unsettling to hear Tezuka call someone buchou. I mean the whole Yamato thing was when he was 12. It's very nice, very subtle.. it's always a bit sad to read about what happens after the series.. TT.TT

This whole thing is essentially the fault of bookshop because of her going on and on about Ryoma and the way he says "buchou".

When I started doing TezuRyo, it made me a bit ill to even think of having them do something like kiss. So, I had to set this after the series. It's long enough after that the tennis aspect of their relationship has faded a bit to reveal what else they feel.

But, yay! You loved it!

I have been resisting getting into this pairing, but people keep on trying to drag me in. <.<; I suppose I will just have to give up the ghost and admit that you wrote it wonderfully and I *squeed* at how you made it work. Dammit, now I'll be getting plotbunnies and *writing* it >.>

I was dragged in kicking and screaming. My first TezuRyo fic was a bribe. The second one was a thank you because the bribe worked so well (it gave me an InuKai!). The third one was just a drabble that inspired a fic. But the fic had me at "buchou". And I was hooked. And then this happened. And the whole thing is bookshop's fault.

So, now you know, and you can also know that now that I haven't gotten over having them get physical at all, it's entirely likely that smut is next.
