A Relaxing Wiikend.

For the first time in a long while, I felt like my weekend was a real weekend.  I didn't get much sleep and I certainly didn't get much done but I really felt like I relaxed over this weekend.  I should feel guilty I didn't get anything done but I don't.  Nope, not one bit.

Lets see, highlights of the weekend.  Alice and I watched The Player which was an odd movie about a failing Hollywood executive who is being harassed by someone he once rejected.  Thinking his life is at stake, he hunts down who he thinks is the right person and tries to buy his forgiveness.  It doesn't go so well and the writer ends up killed by the executive. The movie is odd and interesting and has a bit of a surprise ending.  The most amusing thing of it all is that the movie spends so much time making fun of movies that are elements of this genre and that genre that when you sit back and look at what elements were present IN the movie, you can't help but laugh.

In Billy vs. SNAKEMAN, my character is in the final stages of completing the Impossible Mission.  You likely don't know what that means so let me explain.  The game features "seasons".  As you play the game, you get to a certain level and can start over again with a new season with a different starting ability.  To complete the Impossible Mission you need to have completed a MINIMUM of three seasons.  So for the fastest players in the game, you are talking about four months worth of playing.  You need to have two particular abilities that can only be gained from extremely rare monster drops.  You need to be the leader of a village with 50 members and what's called an Epic Monument, again this isn't an easy requirement.  And you need to complete a ton of requirements.  Then, once all of the requirements have been met, you start a special mission.  I'm very close to the end.  I have only four requirements to fullfil before I can pass everything in the final special mission.

I'm exercising fairly regularly on the Wii Fit but I need to start doing more aerobic work outside of the Wii.  Mostly on the Wii I'm doing strength exercises and yoga workout.  It hasn't done much to help me lose any weight but it is most definitely been nice.  What I'm going to do is once I've completed the Impossible Mission on Billy, as I've mentioned above, I'm going to start doing some major coding to the biking website again and start really improving it.  Alice and I also need to start getting up earlier in the morning.  We did a really good job this morning, which is surprising seeing as what time we got to bed.
