Week End Shot
We finished Smallville Season 1. We topped off the season by getting into a cat/human accident that resulted in a rather expensive vet bill. I'm still a little shaken by what I saw. I won't mention details but Risu had to have her tail amputated by about an inch. She hated us on Saturday and was doing much better on Sunday. We give her pain killers and antibiotics twice a day which she just LOVES. My arm looks terrible. But Risu has one of those cones on her head which is sad to look at and yet very, very funny. She'll be walking across the room and bonk into something that she thought she had room to get past.
I finished Chapter 4 last night. I'm going to rip into Chapter 5 this week and am aiming to complete it by the end of this week. Otherwise the rest of my week is devoted to working as much overtime as I can, playing MLB Power Pros for the Wii, and spending the time I can with my wife. The good news is that despite the vet situation, Alice and I are still looking really good financially. We paid off her Citifinancial and should have her car loan paid off in a week or two.
I have more to talk about but my break is over.
