Summary: Youngjae has always been self conscious about his weight, but what hes even more self conscious about is his best friend Daehyun finding out that hes in love with him. Youngjae doesn't know how much longer he can put up a front and keep avoiding Daehyun in fear that he will find out. Will his constant anxiety cost him the one thing that's the most precious to him, their friendship, or will he just simply grow some balls and tell his best friend what's going on, rather he accepts him or not.
Chapter Title:Date Part 1
"Jongup-ah. Jongup-ah. Jongup-"
"WHAT!!" Jongup said roaring as he turned around in his desk to face the older.
"I need your help." Youngjae frowned, mouth forming into a small pout. He didn't see the point in the younger yelling, that wasn't a very nice thing to do so early in the morning, and on a Friday at that.
"With what?" Jongup asked curiously, quirking his eyes quite a bit.
"I.. need advice..for going on a date.." the older said, trying to clear his throat, feeling slightly embarressed for asking for help on going on something so simple as a mere date. The thing was it wasn't as simple. It was a date, and a date with someone that Youngjae has been infatuated with for a very, very long time.
"So your asking for dating advice than?" Jongup smirked, turning his body completely around to fully face the other, his arms crossed over his chest and legs kicked over to the side of the chair.
Youngjae could feel his cheeks turn a light shade of pink.The question made him burn even more with embarressment. He'd never been on anything remotely close to a date, and Daehyun was already so experienced in that kind thing, he just didn't want to feel left behind, and be even more embarressed for not having the first clue on how a date actually went.
"Y-Yeah.." he said audibly clearing his throat once again. "So are you going to give me any or not?" he asked shyly looking up at the other.
Jongup's grin grew even wider as he tried to read the older more clearly. "Jae, don't tell me you've never been on a date before." he quriked hitting the older right on the spot.
Youngjae blushed brightly as he punched the younger right on the arm. "Shut. Up!" he hissed through gritted teeth. " I don't need you announcing my business to the world like that, it's not like you didn't already know."
"Oh! But I didn't." Jongup faked mock ignorance. Smiling deviously at the other.
Youngjae made out a frustrated sigh as he dragged his hand tirdely over his face. If this kid and Junghong weren't just alike.. He really thought of finding him some other friends to confide in.
"Just tell me what you know you brat." Youngjae demanded, tapping his finger against his desk impatiently.
"But what is there to know Jae?" the questioned raising an eyebrow. "You just go the date, if there's chemistry and you have a good time than go on another one, and if it sucks, well than it just sucks and call it quits." Jongup shrugged.
Youngjae furrowed his eyebrows, just what the hell kind of nonsense was Jongup spewing out now. "What kind of crappy ass advice is that?" he cursed. "I've never been on a date before in my life Jongup, how the hell would I know if there's any chemistry or not. Your supposed to be telling me how I won't make myself look like a complete ass." he hissed, clearly fed up with the younger's whole nonchalant attitude towards the subject.
"What?" Jongup questioned with a puzzeled look. "I'm giving you my honest advice, that's really how it goes. If you really like who ever this person is your so adament on impressing, which fails 99.9 % of the time by the way, than things will either go smoothly, or they won't. There's no in between. It's completely up to you how it turns out. Just look it up in "Dating for Dummies" if you don't believe me." the younger pointed out.
Youngjae found himself blinking numerous times just like in another recent confrentation. Did Jongup really just refer him to a goddamn book for idiots? If that were the case he wouldv'e just googled it, which wasn't sounding so bad right about now.
"Jongup.. I'm asking you what it was like when you went out on dates yourself. I'm the only once who isn't exprerienced in this kind of thing. I'm not asking you for the hypothetical "what if's" and "this is that" answers. Just tell me what I need to do to not look like an idiot, because I honestly have no idea what I'm getting myself into, but I really like this person a lot. I have for a long ass time and I really just don't want to mess this whole thing up."
Jongup clicked his tounge as he prepared to answer. "Okay, fine. You don't have to drill me and be so serious about this. It's only one date right?"
"No."Youngjae said firmly. "This is the person I want to be with for the rest of my life, so I really need some serious advice for someone whose already been doing this kind of stuff because I have no fucking clue."
"Well just bring out the wedding bells already will you! Calm down Jae, I was just joking." the younger voiced sarcastically whilst rolling his eyes.
Youngjae gave the boy another one of his hard stares as he waited for him to continue. He didn't find anything funny about him and Daehyun's relationship. Even though Jongup didn't know anything about it he still didn't have to be such a sarcastic ass about the whole thing.
Youngjae was really taking this whole date thing serious. Although it's not Daehyun's first date, it's still his first date, and Jongup was being an insensitive bastard towards the whole thing as if he didn't see it as a big deal. It was really starting to piss the older off. Jongup knew for a fact that Youngjae has never been on such a thing before and it was all still so new to him.
Jongup let out a small sigh while awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. He could tell that he'd really pushed a few more buttons than he'd like to and he really didn't want to set the older off. "You just..be yourself for christ's sake." he said completely defeated. "Just..be yourself and only think about how much you really like being with this person. How much you honestly like this person, and how only this date revolves around you two."
Youngjae's features drastically softened as he thought about how much sense the younger was making now. Daehyun meant the world to him, and the younger was right.
"Make it special." Jongup said rounding the last sentence up in a nut shell. " Because who ever it is must be really important to you, so just think about that, and besides, it they care about you just as much as you care about them than you really don't have anything to worry about in the first place." he nodded seeming really pleased with his explanation.
Youngjae also nodded in agreement. "Your right." he smiled patting Jongup on the shoulder. "Maybe I'm just over thinking this whole thing. I'm just really nervous y'know. I don't know what's going to happen and I don't want to mess anything up." he admits with a small blush spreading across his face.
Jongup nods in understanding. " It's okay to be nervous Jae. Believe me I'm 100% positive this person is just as nervous. You just have to give things a chance and go along with the flow."
Jongup was right, and by the apparent smirk that was making it's way back across the younger's face he knew he was right on point as well. "So who is it?" the younger whispered while leaning in a little closer.
"Who is who?" Youngjae played dumb, looking straight pass the other to look directly at the white board.
Jongup didn't seem the least bit amused by the older's mock statement. "Whose the lucky person your taking out on a date?" he asked again, growing impatient.
"Can't tell you all that." Youngjae replied airily.
"Great." Jongup huffed. "So you drain me for advice after you've stared me down like I killed you cat or something and all I get in return is a "I can't tell you all that". the younger mocked in a high pitched voice, using air quotations with his fingers.
Youngjae stuck his tounge out as he started to write down his bell work for the day.
Jongup scuffed seeing as how he wasn't going to get any further answers out of his friend. "The nerve some people. Sure hope your date goes well."

Youngjae woke up around 8 that Saturday morning. He quickly showered, got ready, and rushed down the stairs to fix himself something quick to eat.
The two had decided on spending the entire weekend together. They were going to hang out the whole day,maybe a little shopping, playing at the arcade, eat out, and than catch a movie later on that night if they really felt up to it.
Youngjae was just excited about spending the night over at the older's house. It had been such a long time since he last stayed over, and even longer since he last payed a visit. I'm sure Daehyun's parents woud be just a surprised to him as much as he is to finally be coming over again.
It felt good to finally get everything off his chest once and for all. It felt amazing when he finally confessed his feelings to the older, but nothing made him feel like he did when Daehyun literally returned the younger's feelings towards him. It felt like he was on cloud nine, and he couldn't be more in bliss than he was right now.
Youngjae felt his lips pull into a wide grin as he skipped, yes skipped right pass his brother to get to the pantry where the cereal were.
Himchan cocked an eyebrow as he watched the younger jump with glee, and smile brightly as he poured himself some cereal. The older rolled his eyes at the whole scene because he seemed more than a little bit happy about spending the weekend with Daehyun.
The two had been best friends way before this whole feelings thing came into play. Which he was still having a hard time grasping, but he looked that aside for now and payed more attention to how close the two had grown since a few days ago when he accidentally walked in on them.
They were, to put it simply, very unashamed of how affectionate they were towards each other. Although they did in fact try to hide the small touches they would pass one another when they didn't think anyone was watching, but you couldn't get anything, not jack sqaut pass Himchan's eyes. He saw everything. Even the little smiles and grins and dear god the disturbing eyewinks they would send each other every two seconds!
It's not that Himchan really minded the fact that the two were dating, if that was what they were really doing. He wasn't really sure after what Youngjae confessed to him the other day. If Daehyun wasn't the younger's boyfriend, than what was he?
He wasn't going to think of the other term that was used, because that was just something that he didn't need squirming its way into his mind. But seriously, what were they than? If the casual touches and smiles, and the constant winking of the eyes wasn't a clear indication that the two were dating, then what the hell did that make them?!
Maybe Yongjae was just giving them time and seeing what it will turn into, but sucking each other's faces and climbing all on top of one another was not what waiting is all about! In his opinion they were moving way to fast, and that part he really didn't like. Not if they were as unclear about their relationship for at least one of them to admit that they weren't dating.
"Morning hyung!" Youngjae pepped as he took a seat right across from the older.
Himchan hummed in recognition before returning back to his phone, sipping his coffee occasionally. He cleared his throat after a few moments, gaining the other's attention.
Youngjae raised his eyebrows in question as he continued chewing his food.
"Jae can you be completely honest with me for a second?" Himchan asked not really wanting to voice the question but he knew he had to get this off his chest, and out of his brain.
Youngjae nodded and motioned for him to continue.
"Just..what are you and Daehyun? Seriously."
Youngjae furrowed his eyebrows into a frown. "Not this again hyung. God didn't I already tell you we're working things out." he voiced trying to dismiss the question.
"Work what out? You said you two weren't even together." Himchan frowned as well, confusion spread all over his face.
Youngjae sighed before putting his spoon down, letting it sink into the bowl. " It doesn't matter if we are or not hyung. What goes on with us has nothing to do with you."
Himchan was a little taken aback by the sudden defiance in the younger's tone, let alone the statement itself. "Well I'm just trying to figure this out. I mean I caught you two..." he said geturing a little with his hands, not really wanting to explain it aloud.
Youngjae instantly blushed from the memory. " I know, and I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to walk in on us..." he said lowering his head.
"But I did and now the image is stuck in my head. I would be okay if you two had been together for quite sometime, and that's saying alot considering that I am your older brother." Himchan defended, quickly putting a hand up to dismiss whatever nonsense the younger was going to say. "So what are you two?" he asked again, this time more firmly.
"We like each other okay!" Youngjae blushed, raising his voice. " We really really like each other and we're going on a date today! Is that what you wanted to hear hyung. God!" the younger shot up from his seat not even bothering to take his half bowl of milk with him. "We like each other and that's all that matters! So get over it hyung!"
Himchan wasn't expecting that answer. "So you two are dating?"
"For the love of- I don't know right now hyung!" Youngjae sounded fed up. "Daehyun has said anything yet and neither will I until we're both ready. So just quit it and stop being so damn nosy!" he hissed at the older.
Himchan's jaw dropped in shock. He was not nosy. Sure he pried a little bit, but only when his concious was screaming at him to check things out, but nosy! He just could not believe that the yougner actually said that. It made him sound like a middle aged women.
"Yah! Dude who the hell is nosy?!" he jumped up, completely offended.
"You dude! You!" Youngjae spat back, not backing down from the older.
Himchan snorted as he popped the younger on the back of his head. "Watch who your talking to little punk. Just because your getting taller still doesn't mean I can't kick your ass."
Youngjae glared at his brother, not even daring to talk back. He didn't have the time for it. He had somewhere to be. Unlike the lonely old woman that Himchan truly was.
He stuck his tounge out at Himchan before escaping into the living room to grab his things and head out the door. "Don't spy on us!" he hollard before slamming the front door behind him.
Himchan charged his way towards the door, swinging it open. He was just about to yell out to the younger when a thought just ran through his head.
Wait. Did he just say they were going on a date.
Than Youngjae spending the night over at Daehyun's could only lead to one thing, and one thing only.
Oh. My. God. Is my brother going to lose his virginity?!?

Daehyun and Youngjae's first date turned out to be a real success. It wasn't anything that Youngjae thought it was going to be. He expected himself to be alot more nervous about actually spending more than just a guys day out with his best friend.
He wasn't sure if it was because they had already made out more times than he could count since they confessed to one another, but he didn't complain. He couldn't be more happy.
Not only did they joke and play around like the true best freinds that they were already, but they shared alot of intimate moments together.
Daehyun would shamelessly flirt with the younger while they were out in public. He would sneak his hands to snake around Youngjae's front, catching him a little off gaurd while he played one on one games at the arcade.
He would intentionally braid his fingers into the other's, rubbing soft circles over them, while they were sitting down at their favortie pizza resturant. Even going so far as to rub his leg against the younger's every so often.
To put it simply, Daehyun was being all kinds of touchy feely today, and it didn't really seem as if Youngae really minded it. In fact he edged him on. Purposely brushing his arm against the older's when they walked side by side. Blushing profusely as he did so.
Daehyun wanted so bad to just kiss the younger right than and there. His conscious was just screaming at him, but he decided to hold it in. There was no way he was letting the younger get away later on tonight though.
He honestly didn't plan on doing anything to extensive with Youngjae. Just a lot of making out and cuddling, and yeah, probably more making out. He was still new to this whole "Hey I'm dating a guy thing" too, but he really didn't see how it was so much more different from dating a girl other than the fact that Youngjae was not a girl, and he was his best friend at that.
But other than that, he really didn't see a point in going to fast. They could take their time and figure those things out together. Daehyun preferred it that way and he also knew that Youngjae felt the same.
That didn't stop the thought of him wanting to do it though. He wanted to touch Youngjae in the most intimate of ways. He wanted to make the other come undone just from the lightest of touches. The smallest of kisses. Having Youngjae moan his name outright in the most sensual way is what he craved for.
But for now he was fine with the heated kisses and occasional skin touching skin, running their hands all over each other's bodies, contact. He could deal with that for now, but he didn't know for how long he would be able to hold out.

He really is the nagging type and I love him so much for it. He was actually my first biased when I discovered BAP last year, that is before I found out Daehyun is just crazy and now hes my second.
I tried to extend this rchapter pass my writing capability, but it's gonna be a while before I can make those ohhh so long beautiful chapters that I love reading myself. I will try even harder in the near future ^^
Also I know that this chapter is not strictly DaeJae, but do not fret, the next part will definitely be. Sorry if I disappointed anyone D:

Youngjae sighed before putting his spoon down, letting it sink into the bowl. " It doesn't matter if we are or not hyung. What goes on with us has nothing to do with you."
Himchan was a little taken aback by the sudden defiance in the younger's tone, let alone the statement itself. "Well I'm just trying to figure this out. I mean I caught you two..." he said geturing a little with his hands, not really wanting to explain it aloud.
Youngjae instantly blushed from the memory. " I know, and I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to walk in on us..." he said lowering his head.
"But I did and now the image is stuck in my head. I would be okay if you two had been together for quite sometime, and that's saying alot considering that I am your older brother." Himchan defended, quickly putting a hand up to dismiss whatever nonsense the younger was going to say. "So what are you two?" he asked again, this time more firmly.
"We like each other okay!" Youngjae blushed, raising his voice. " We really really like each other and we're going on a date today! Is that what you wanted to hear hyung. God!" the younger shot up from his seat not even bothering to take his half bowl of milk with him. "We like each other and that's all that matters! So get over it hyung!"
Himchan wasn't expecting that answer. "So you two are dating?"
"For the love of- I don't know right now hyung!" Youngjae sounded fed up. "Daehyun has said anything yet and neither will I until we're both ready. So just quit it and stop being so damn nosy!" he hissed at the older.
Himchan's jaw dropped in shock. He was not nosy. Sure he pried a little bit, but only when his concious was screaming at him to check things out, but nosy! He just could not believe that the yougner actually said that. It made him sound like a middle aged women.
"Yah! Dude who the hell is nosy?!" he jumped up, completely offended.
"You dude! You!" Youngjae spat back, not backing down from the older.
Himchan snorted as he popped the younger on the back of his head. "Watch who your talking to little punk. Just because your getting taller still doesn't mean I can't kick your ass."
Youngjae glared at his brother, not even daring to talk back. He didn't have the time for it. He had somewhere to be. Unlike the lonely old woman that Himchan truly was.
He stuck his tounge out at Himchan before escaping into the living room to grab his things and head out the door. "Don't spy on us!" he hollard before slamming the front door behind him.
Himchan charged his way towards the door, swinging it open. He was just about to yell out to the younger when a thought just ran through his head.
Wait. Did he just say they were going on a date.
Than Youngjae spending the night over at Daehyun's could only lead to one thing, and one thing only.
Oh. My. God. Is my brother going to lose his virginity?!?

Daehyun and Youngjae's first date turned out to be a real success. It wasn't anything that Youngjae thought it was going to be. He expected himself to be alot more nervous about actually spending more than just a guys day out with his best friend.
He wasn't sure if it was because they had already made out more times than he could count since they confessed to one another, but he didn't complain. He couldn't be more happy.
Not only did they joke and play around like the true best freinds that they were already, but they shared alot of intimate moments together.
Daehyun would shamelessly flirt with the younger while they were out in public. He would sneak his hands to snake around Youngjae's front, catching him a little off gaurd while he played one on one games at the arcade.
He would intentionally braid his fingers into the other's, rubbing soft circles over them, while they were sitting down at their favortie pizza resturant. Even going so far as to rub his leg against the younger's every so often.
To put it simply, Daehyun was being all kinds of touchy feely today, and it didn't really seem as if Youngae really minded it. In fact he edged him on. Purposely brushing his arm against the older's when they walked side by side. Blushing profusely as he did so.
Daehyun wanted so bad to just kiss the younger right than and there. His conscious was just screaming at him, but he decided to hold it in. There was no way he was letting the younger get away later on tonight though.
He honestly didn't plan on doing anything to extensive with Youngjae. Just a lot of making out and cuddling, and yeah, probably more making out. He was still new to this whole "Hey I'm dating a guy thing" too, but he really didn't see how it was so much more different from dating a girl other than the fact that Youngjae was not a girl, and he was his best friend at that.
But other than that, he really didn't see a point in going to fast. They could take their time and figure those things out together. Daehyun preferred it that way and he also knew that Youngjae felt the same.
That didn't stop the thought of him wanting to do it though. He wanted to touch Youngjae in the most intimate of ways. He wanted to make the other come undone just from the lightest of touches. The smallest of kisses. Having Youngjae moan his name outright in the most sensual way is what he craved for.
But for now he was fine with the heated kisses and occasional skin touching skin, running their hands all over each other's bodies, contact. He could deal with that for now, but he didn't know for how long he would be able to hold out.

He really is the nagging type and I love him so much for it. He was actually my first biased when I discovered BAP last year, that is before I found out Daehyun is just crazy and now hes my second.
I tried to extend this rchapter pass my writing capability, but it's gonna be a while before I can make those ohhh so long beautiful chapters that I love reading myself. I will try even harder in the near future ^^
Also I know that this chapter is not strictly DaeJae, but do not fret, the next part will definitely be. Sorry if I disappointed anyone D:
