Advent Calendar 2011.
I'm not crazy, I know we are at the end of April. Just, I never had the occasion to post about it early. 
As I wrote at the end of November, I had the intention of making an Advent Calendar for my boyfriend.
I did it just on time, at the start of December and finishing it meanwhile he was relegated in my room (with my mum on guard duty...).
I wanted to do it because I saw a lot of articles and discussion about it, full of hand-made stuff from great mums and highly decorative things. Plus, I thought it was a simple but nice way to be "near" my boyfriend while I was cancelling dates and working myself to the bone for the end of the year's projects.
My favourite articles about it are this: photo galleries, Christmas' articles, Advent's articles.
I had the intention of doing it not totally chocolate based or presents based (I didn't want it being over-fat or over-consumerist, I was thinking about little useful things, or handmade stuff and only a bit of sweets) but I ran out of time so I picked up all the stuff in only one supermarket trip. Then I packed them up with three different wrapping sheets, wrote on it the numbers with metallic felt-pens and put them all in a gift-bag. Not very hand-made and cool, but my boyfriend liked it very much anyway!
I tried to stay on a 1 € price for every thing, but some were a little more and some multiple packages (once opened and separated) something less. In the end it was not bad.
Sadly, I never had my paper Advent calendar. Seems like aren't cool anymore in Italy. Or maybe, the first days of December were already too late to fetch one, more probably.
