Back in Milano.
Yesterday I came back from my holiday at the Tuscany seaside, at Marina di Castagneto Carducci, camping Etruria (here).
We leaved Friday 12, so we dind't kill ourself in the holiday exodus on the high-way. Tuscany was packed, we found some place in this camping only after some peregrination.
We had a nice place: real camping (not a wannabe tourist village), a lot of trees as it is under the seaside pine forest, a lot of spaces as it was very big, many bathroom points dislocated around, little market, free freezer for campers' siberini, infirmary, direct acces to the beach, big and discreet piazzole (pitch sites). And least, bat not least, a good price! Two tend for six person at 16 € each per day, really nice for Italy!
We did beach life during the day, in the camping, and night-life around the towns after dinner. Whit all the Tuscan wine that was drank, good thing that I don't drink so I'm always the designated driver (which I really enjoy to be, by the way!). We swim, tan, played, read and make crosswords on the beach until 19:30, when all the Germans went back to the camping and left the beach empty, when we went for aperitivo at the beach bar sitting on a log levigated by theY sea until the sun disappeared behind the sea. We even had at sunset's cat, which every day come at the aperitivo time, sat on the gazebo and watch us and the sunset.
We went to the Tuscany beach party at S. Vincenzo town. As we had to be standing (as I don't dance) all the nigh on the beach, when the party ended at 5 in the morning I was still all awake and ready to drive home. We went to bed when the the camping was alredy being lighten up by the dawn, at 6.
We had a dinner in Cecina, with the sound track of a nearby liric concert, to eat the fiorentina steak! Mmmmm, fiorentina... ♥
We had a second dinner out in Castagneto Carducci, a inland town very nice, famous for its wine business and ancient historical centre.
We enjoyed various of our friends (local and expatriate) who came, stay, went back and change in this ten days of holidays.
We had a relaxing, fun and enjoyable holiday at the sea and I'm SO happy about that!
My lovely boyfriend did everything he was able to for making me happy. He is a sweetheart and I'm really the luckiest woman in the world for having him! ♥♥♥
