So did you guys know that like, all of the Borders everywhere are closing? The one near my grandma closed, and she had a gift card so she was like "oh here, you can just get something back home." And so I went to the Borders near me, and it was having a sort of big close out sale. Apperantly borders is just totally going out of buisness. That sort of stinks, but at least there was a sale, so I got a bunch of stuff! I got the next volume of Fullmetal Alchemist, A Tree Grows in Brookly, and Fifth Avenut, 5 A.M, which is about Audrey Hephburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's... at least that's what I gathered, ahaha. Anyway it looked good. And then I got the albums for Moulin Rouge AND Chicago, which is awesome!!
Today I also saw Winnie the Pooh, which was SO cute!!! My mom and my friend and I were the only people in the theater who were like, not with little children, but it was amazing anyway, I just couldn't take it. After that I was out all day with my family. I'm getting some new furniture for my room, and today I bough a super comfy queen sized matress. I don't have it yet, but I'm so excited. Right now I have a really old squeaky gives me back pain twin, so I'm looking forward to the new one! I have a tiny room though so... it's cool though, I don't have dance parties in my room or anything, so I don't really need a bunch of free space. Oh, and furniture salespeople are basically stalkers, no big deal.
After we got home, we had to weed and do a bunch of yard work, and it's SO hot, it was pretty miserable. My legs are kind of killing me right now. Ah well. I have another meme!
I got this from Kelly!
♥ Comment with LOVE ME (Or anything really to indicate you want me to interview you, lol.)
♥ I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
♥ Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
♥ Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
1. What is your all-time favorite Disney character?
What a tough question, there are so many!! Well, this could be a different answer tomorrow, but I think for now I might say Winnie the Pooh. And I swear it's not just because I saw the movie today! I'm sort of grouping the whole Hundred Acre Woods gang into this, but Winnie the Pooh is sort of the spokesperson for them. It just has so much sentimental value to me, and he is just so adorable and sweet and funny. I'm kind of stuck between kid and growing up, and so I guess I'm just really attached to all of that.
2. What is your favorite hobby?
Is the internet a hobby Hahaha, seriously though, I spend too much time on the internet and watching tv... but I guess reading. I've always LOVED it, but during the school year I don't have as much time to read just whatever books I want (though I'm one of the few people in my class who actually enjoys literature) and so especially during the summer I read a whole bunch and it's awesome.
3. Do you have any talents?
Ok, I don't want to answer this question and be all braggy, and I will try. Um, I'm pretty good at writing. I know that probably doesn't exactly show in my journal entries, when I just sort of vomit my thoughts out, but it's my strong suit in school definitely. Like, I really don't have problems writing essays and whatever, but if I have to do some sort of visual presentation or something I just really fail. So yeah, I like creative writing... but my mind has problems with coming up with ideas sometimes, so I don't really do it a ton outside of school.
4. What is your favorite meal?
Hmm... I just really love pasta in general. Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti are my favorites! I guess with it, some breadsticks and a good salad... yum, sounds delicious.
5. Which fictional character would you say you are most like?
Ok, another toughie. I'm so bad at these trying to define yourself things. Ok, I've been sitting here thinking about this way too long. Someone who I just sort of randomly thought of would be Kathleen Kelly from You've Got Mail... ok, so random, but I guess there are just some things in her personality I see in myself sometimes? who know, maybe not, but I think I can see it a little bit.
