today is the last fast. (hey that rhymed !)
it's gone so quick. i can't wait to eat in a few hours, and not have to worry about going to school half awake and so lethargic. So, what to write about over the past few days..
- Oh , Oh, Oh, exciting news! I e-mailed Catherine Macphail (author of "Roxy's Baby" "Grass" etc) telling her how I love her books (check.them.out.NOW*) and asked whether she's doing any visits for upcoming books etc. and she replied! wow, it feels so good to have an amazing writer respond to an e-mail , 'cos I know that they'll be busy and what have you. She trold me she's coming to Lancashire on Oct 2/3! OMG Lancashire! *fingers crossed* I hope she can come into out school, I mean it would be awesome... I'd love to show her the start of my own novel and ask her tips as writer and how she started out etc.
I am also reading Jade Goody's autobiography at the moment, and I must say, I love it! I don't care what people think about her, but after all she is a human and I don't think anyone deserves cancer but yeah. T'is a good read for all you budding Jade Goody fans out there!
Also, Eid is coming up. i don't know what I want. Let me re-phrase that for you: I know what I want, but don't know how to ask for it. :/ I want to see Wicked , as I now have over £90 that I saved up during Ramadhan. How can i ask my brother? I don't know how he'll react :$ I know my other brother will come out with his "musicals are for gay people" malarky but urgh. I need to ask. soon. I'm sure my older brother will take me, but I don't want to wait for my birthday? or do I? I want to book at the end of Sept(when he gets paid) so I can go see it in December.. I don't want an iPod (I wouldn't mind one) or any other superficial items teenagers nowadays want, but I want to go and see Wicked in London.
-not too much to ask. right?
