Ah good Easter Friends, it's time for another one of Filmy T's film review.
I recently saw the Ring 2. For some odd reason I had hopes that this film would be better than the previous american release. Fore it was directed by the orginal director of the Japanese series Hideo Nakata.
Havning been a fan of the Japanese original, left me to think. "Hmm this one could be better." Which would bad because that would mean the recent trend of horror movies churning out of hollywood wouldn't be taking a break soon.
Here's the plot. It's been some unknown amount of years after the conclusion of the first american release. Aussie and shit for brains ham actor son of hers move to Oregon.
The mysterious cursed VHS tape -related murder occurs, that sends Aussie in a panic thinking she was free of the terror of the tape. So she burns the last remaining copy of the tape. Thus pissing off the killer girl. So poltergal gets crabby, and decides to possess shit for brains.
So then Aussie being stupid can't figure out all the hauntings, hallicinations, and w Computer Generated Stags are attacking her car. (Yes this movie has CGI deer.)
After about of all the reused horror formulas and cliches. Aussie frees brains. Only to travel through her TV to "evil tv land".
Aussie scampers up the wall. While being chased by spooky gal. Only to shut the well and tell Spooks. "I'm not your fuckin mother!" BAM!!!
THE END
Don't watch this shit. Friek and I were also blessed with the background noise of commentary teeny boppers.
