Holy Moses, it's been a long time since I've visited the Update page.
What's been going on, you ask? Well have I mentioned volleyball is finally over with? Yes yes it is. I'm bummed we didn't make it into the NCAA tourney, and I'm bummed the Seniors are leaving. But, it was just getting so...hard to enjoy anymore. I was worried I was beginning to not enjoy one of the things that I do best. I know, it was a scary thing!! So I've had the past week off from practices and workouts. I must say, it's been really enjoyable, I just didn't know what to do with myself at first!! HAH, I wore spandex for the first time today since...Nov. 26th. I gotta say, I miss wearing the spandex! Ashley and I worked out for a bit at Jenison, did some bike workout...Then did our jump testing. I DID NOT TOUCH 10' !!!!!!!! AGH I was so pooped. I touched 9'11"...Boo...Back in club I touched 10'3"...argh. It's depressing. But whatever. So after jump testing, we went back to the bikes, and did some abs. whoop whoop!
I've got a busy week ahead of me. Calculus test Wednesday, Psychology test Thursday, Linguistics presentation Thursday, and Linguistics paper due...Friday at 5! Which is sweet cuz originally it was due Thursday as well. Thanks Tara :)
It's wierd...I feel like I've grown in this past week. In the first week that I haven't been going to practice, I've actually met more people and have felt more comfortable approaching people. I've gotten to know eh...at least 5 people pretty well on my floor. My suitemates, basketball players, for instance...I honestly haven't talked to them hardly ever till this past week. Nothing wrong with them, I just...haven't gotten around to it? Oh and MOJO down the hall haha...He's a basketball player and he's such a nice guy. He's so funny. Although he is NOT a fan of the Pistons (simply because we beat the Lakers...he's a Kobe fan) So I'm gonna have to work on that...however, he says he does appreciate individual players, just not the team as a whole cuz they beat his team...I told him I'm marrying Rip...Now I'm glad to know that Maurice gave his approval on his game haha...
I've also been getting some really great friendships out of AIA (Athletes In Action) Yeah Heather!!! haha. Us Heathers are such dorks, but we're sweet...you wouldn't understand lol...Ah yes AIA. It's a fun time. We had a girl's day out Saturday, a bunch of us went to Meridian Mall to shop, then went to dinner at Buddy's bar and grill? I think that's where it was. It was fun. Then YESTERDAY Phil had a TON of athletes over for Thanksmas!! It's an end-of-the-year tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with a bunch of athletes. It's so cool to be a part of it. To know I'm eating dinner with a bunch of MSU hockey, soccer, football players. It's so fun and exciting!! lol I still can't believe I'm a part of this at MSU. It's crazy. I'll run into a bunch of basketball players almost everyday. Football players all the time...And it's like. Hey, I see him on TV all the time. and...Hey, he's gonna be drafted into the NBA next year!! *sigh* Cool beans...Cool beans indeed.

I have almost all of my Christmas shopping out of the way. All that is left is my secret santa, aaaaand Andy and Erin. I don't know WHAT to get them!! I can't wait to come home and see all my friends and family. OOOOOH this break is going to be da bomb. Yes, it's true. I actually made a list of things I want to do over break. hah! I'm so stoked.
