Cooking headcanon -- Gansey can learn to cook well enough to not starve on his own without access to pizza joints, but he never enjoys it, because he tends to overthink it and approach it too systematically, and to worry about whether or not he's doing it right. So he is a little bit in awe of Blue's way of doing it, which looks like magic -- taking ingredients he never would've expected to go together and somehow combining them into a tasty meal with a "pinch of this, dash of that" approach that absolutely baffles him. (Adam is very good at producing nutritious if not glamorous meals out of leftovers and dubious canned food and packaged ramen, and Henry is of the philosophy that liberal application of hot sauce is the solution to every cooking mishap, and Ronan is fine with getting most of his calories from beer, so long as Opal and Chainsaw are getting proper nutrients, so nobody actually cares about Gansey's cooking angst, but he does.)
Sleeping headcanon -- Gansey really enjoys remembering dreams, the weirder the better, and pondering their significance, even if it's not anything momentous.
Driving headcanon -- while he appreciates the thought, of course, and it's very convenient never having to fill up the car or worry about running out of gas, and he knows Blue appreciates having a zero-carbon-footprint roadtrip, he kind of misses the way the Pig used to break down, because fixing it was one of the first *real* things he'd learned to do for himself.
Bathing/showering headcanon -- quick, efficient showers. He loves being in the water to swim, but that's the reason he doesn't like baths -- he's in the water, but it's too restrictive.
General physical contact headcanon
Hugging headcanon -- hugging (like bro-fists and other physical contact) is serious business to Gansey. He's always very aware of personal space and being in other people's, and how his height comes across. As a result, mostly other people have to initiate the hugs or whatever, although with Blue everything comes naturally, so that's an exception and a relief.
Kissing headcanon -- there is still this weird instant of magic/terror whenever he kisses Blue, because for so long it wasn't an option they'd even allow themselves to consider.
Sex headcanon -- Gansey got a very thorough "the birds and the bees"/"always use protection"/"tell me immeidately if you knock up a girl" talk from each of his parents separately and from Helen before he went off to Aglionby.
