Jane is one of the tempting ones, yes, because DRAGON! (well, and she's personally awesome, too) Hmm, maybe I could trade with her for a week while she was pregnant with Emily and therefore out of the action for a while. I could live with that, I think. But not anything more permanent than that!

Oh, I don't think I realized you'd read the Flora books! *digs up in your goodreads* Ah, the "I am not the right audience" tag :P -- that's about what I thought, which is why I figured you hadn't read it. (I do find the series very charming, and the AU!San Francisco thing appeals to me for bonus reasons.)

Yeah, Londo was the absolute clearest NO on this list for me. I think there is literally not a single moment of his existence when I would want to be in his shoes. Well, OK, maybe when he's really drunk at that party in S1 and seems to be having fun. But for no more than 10 minutes or so.

And I fully agree: I wouldn't want to have any of these characters' problems, but that is part of the reason we love them!
