Aliera: Someone she loves dissolving into amorphia because she lost control. And I think the best option for "someone she loves" would actually be Morrolan himself, because in addition to being her only remaining family (well, not counting Devera, because that's too complicated), I think she feels responsible for him, too.
Morrolan: Someone he loves being slowly killed by hostile forces while he watches, completely beyond his reach. And once again, I think Aliera is the best candidate for that "someone he loves" (though pretty much anyone he cares about would do -- Teldra, Sethra, Fentor, Vlad, Verra), because I think he would feel extra-responsible for her.
g) Which Harry Potter character would most likely be their best friend
Aliera: Seeing as how Aliera's friendships seem to be mostly based on bickering and one-upmanship, I'm thinking Sirius Black (pre-Azkaban, naturally) would make a good buddy fo her.
Morrolan: Dumbledore, I'm thinking, as Morrolan would enjoy learning from him.
h) What career they would take after Hogwarts
Morrolan: Indolent aristocrat, duh :P No, but seriously, I don't see Morrolan doing anything where he had to do anything someone told him to, so most careers are pretty much out. He would definitely do the gentleman scholar thing, tinkering in his mansion's laboratory with dragon blood or whatnot. If he actually had to earn a living, he'd maybe stay on teaching at Hogwarts? Not that he'd be a good teacher, but that doesn't seem to be much of a consideration. Or possibly do the Auror thing, if he was allowed enough leeway in his actions.
Aliera: Healer at St Mungo's when the mood strikes her, but generally mooching off Morrolan.

One of the things I've always been struck by is just how much Morrolan, for all his hoity-toity Dragon behavior, really, truly cares about his friends. When he grieves, he goddamn grieves. Teldra. ;;
Yes, it's one of the things I love so much about him! Along with how quickly he decides who his friends are, while they are, in some cases *cough*Vlad*cough* are still trying to figure out what he's on about -- I just find that really endearing, and it's a big reason I love the chronologically-early Vlad books so much.
Teldra... DD: I just hope we get some kind of... something when Lady Teldra wakes up. Not reunion, obviously, but something.
P.S. speaking of terribly stupid AUs, I think it was during your LJ hiatus that this not!fic masterpiece of mine happened (feel totally free to ignore it if it is of no interest -- it is ridiculous as all get-out, to be sure! -- I just remembered about it and had the link handy, so :)
