i'm a little worried about Gaz, my black mottled female dwarf hamster. I know that female hamsters can sometimes go through a menstruation period and i've noticed her having one a couple of times since i've had her. but this one seems different. the blood is a lot more noticable than the other instances. i could get about the amount of say, 2 pinheads (just trying to describe it.. hehe) on a tissue. this is the second day that i've noticed this, and the petwebsite says it usually last only about 2 days or so.

i'm just worried about the amount of blood, and i can't tell whether it's coming from the vagina or the anus.

any words of reassurance? if she's still bleeding by monday i'm calling the vet.
