Taking an emergency-hamster
Oh my god, I think my hands are shaking.
I stubled across an ad of someone near my place who wants her hamster "away" to make room for squirrels. The ad sounded so heartless (nothing of the usual "only in good care" notes, nothing like "no snake-food")
I had enough rational thinking left to check that I have enough space, toys and a spare cage (the one he comes in sounds more like a transport box...) before I called.
Tomorrow I'll own a third hamster. It still feels very unrealistic to me, like it's just a game of 'let's pretend' or something.
I'm sorry if I still sound very confused. I just needed to share with someone. x_x
