Hamster trouble (mild profanity - I am an emotional wreck)
I don't know if this is normal or not, but it's really pissing me off. My hamster is just a baby (maybe a few weeks old), but all she does is cry and bite me whenever I try to pet her gently or pick her up as carefully as possible. Everytime I try to talk to her, you know, get her accostomed to the sound of my voice, she starts screaming and retreats to her little fluff cave. Anyone who's ever had hamsters, tell me what the fuck I can do, I feel really, really pathetic and unloved right now. :( The reason I got a hamster in the first place, was so that I could have something to cuddle and feel loved by. If this doesn't change, I just may kill myself. Slight exaggeration, but, still scarily probabale.
What can I do? I'm scared to touch her again, but if I just leave her alone she won't be socialized and she'll never get used to me.
