Well, I am facing a major change to my life philosophy here at the beginning of my last year of school, which will effect the end of my Taylor experience in a myriad of ways. The ramifications being many and diverse I have dedicated the last two days almost exclusively to thought on the matter, and I have decided to switch to a linux-based OS, ubuntu specifically. ya I know, the angels are rejoicing. Or maybe just geoff. I'm just dual booting for now, but we'll see where it leads. Fedora Core hung in there as an option up to the end, but I finally decided I don't have the linux experience to tussle with something that unstable. Plus I don't want to give those smug RHEL developers the satisfaction of having free guinea pig users. I have no qualms with the usability of ubuntu as a standalone OS, but I am apprehensive about its compatability with the other 99% of the world (or whatever MS's market share is these days). If nothing else I will have fun tinkering with it.
