I missed yesterday.
First the power went out, which was brief, but enough impetus, and I picked up a low-tech object called a book.
After that I didn't want to put down the book and read until sleep took over after requisit updates to strava, instagram and other chronicles of the day's adventure.
I took this picture of some lovely mammatus cloud (aka titty clouds) on my way home from a bike ride. These clouds form at the front edge of storm clouds when there is a dramatic heat difference between the ground and air aloft. They are usually the things seen as part of the North American monsoons in Aug/Sept, it's neat to see them a bit out of season. If you see them, weather is about to get interesting. Lightning, hail and given enough rotation, tornados. At home we were blasted with 50mph gusts and some rain, which managed to whip a chair accross the porch. Also lightning, however, the best I could see from my position on the the Salt Lake valley flats was cloud flashes.
More tonight than right now, I simply had the time right now to catch up.
