(no subject)
So I moved and stuff. It is really nice having my own (well, I have roommates of course but they are cool) place to live. And until the fourth roommate gets here, I have my own room as well.
I've mostly been working at a different store, it isn't 24 hours and the neighborhood is pretty damn rich so I get lots of old ladies with dogs in their purses wondering if we sell pet stairs or doggie diapers (hint: we sell both, lol wtf).
Because money is tight I am *renting* my textbooks instead of buying them, lol. It's cheaper even than buying them new, and I decided to rent them for a semester term so that I have plenty of time to return them. And the return postage is pre-paid so that is nice. It's not like I'm ever going to need my book on Evolution ever again (although I did buy a used paperback copy of my virology text because that one looks cool).
Also I am excited because next wednesday I am going to the courthouse and (hopefully) getting my name changed. Then I get to yell at the DMV and make them change my name (and address, I forgot to do that, woops. At least I technically can still "live" at the old one). And then head over to Walgreens and tell my boss, then call the school and figure out what I need to do to get it changed in their systems (I'd probably have to walk over there with the papers and show them, dammit). It's also the first wednesday I've had off in a LONG time so that means I get to hop over to group too.
