Jesus, this weekend didn't even feel like a weekend.
Friday tech was pretty fly, I helped Dori do the facing on hell and then I went to Qdoba with Jillian, Tyler, Dori and Martin and evil Fitz was released...oh man. "This is NOT a smile, it is an angry grimace god damn it!!"
Meg was at Qudoba too which was crazy cool...we need to hang out more.
Molly drove me crazy with all of her plan making bull shit, but that's not really very interesting so I'm not going to write about it...
After food I went to see Defying Gravity which was really good. It was extremely sad but it was amazing. EMILY DID FANTASTIC AND LAUREN IS MY TECH HERO!!! I am glad to know that Saturn's rings feel like doughnuts.
Saturday I went to the half day of tech and Dori and I finished the facing stuff. Then we all went to lunch at Wendy's which was pretty sweet because Lauren gave me her hula (or is it hoola?) hooping Curious George toy. After lunch I took Dori and Lauren home. On the way to drop Dori off we decided to stop and check out the new African place out by Dori's house. We went in and we ordered the only dessert on the menu which was also pretty much the only vegetarian thing there. It was ok, it was really sweet though and the 3 of us couldnt even eat half of it. Anyway, the waitress took forEVER to get us our check so while we were waiting for about an hour and 45 minutes we discussed all sorts of really cool stuff like life, love, destiny, alternate universes, destiny, fate, death, heaven, reincarnation...it was awesome. Finally we got our check and left. We couldnt stop thinking about all that stuff. It eventually got to the point where we had to stop talking though because our brains were fried.
I went to Ear X-Tacy and got the Curious George soundtrack which is pretty much all Jack Johnson and it is one of the best CDs I own. It is so cute, its Jack singing all of these really sweet little kid songs like "Reduce, Reuse Recycle" and "Its Fun to Share" You'd think they'd be cheesy and lame but they're just cute.
Then I picked up mom and dad from the airport and brought them home to mom's suprise birthday...That was an experience...Basically, my mom's whole family came over around 9:00 and decorated mom's room with a bunch of candles and desserts and whatnot...then they all got plastered and hid in her room until she got home. It was scary.
