Yessss we saw it last night! It was awesome! The theater had the correct amount of cherubs (no cherubs)!!! We dressed up!!

Ohhh it is a shame you did not get to see the cuddlin' I guess understudy Enjolras doesn't do that 8(( ALAS! But yeah wtf wtf Grantaire's portrayal re: Enjolras & the revolution is really fucked up in this version it made me sad and I can totally see how it would confuse people who do not know the story! (Although tbh I think if I saw the musical for the first time without knowing anything about the story I would have no idea what was going on throughout the entire play) IDK if you have seen any youtube vids or anything of how they normally do that scene but like... usually after Grantaire's hissy fit in DWM Enjolras kind of goes over and looks at him all STERN and then Grantaire is like 8( 8( 8( and like... gives him his bottle? Or something? And Enjolras lays a hand on his shoulder and they have a MANFUL MOMENT OF ALMOSTKISSING AND INSPIRING WORDS ARE EXCHANGED (I assume) that really seems like it provides a good resolution to their little.. interaction arc. Thing. idk.

Did you see principle Eponine? I didn't really DISLIKE her intensely or anything I just didn't like her AS Eponine, I guess ! If that makes sense.
